Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. Jo is doing bird feeders. When she is done we are going for gas in 2 vehicles then I’m going to pick up a prescription. When home, take a shower then lunch! That is the plan and I’m sticking with it! 😄. How exciting! 🤣.

When they went to see my Dad at the Nursing home on Wensday PT got my Dad up!!!! he sat on the side of the bed and even got him to stand, that’s really big that he could do it😘 My brother then took him outside and pushed him around in the wheel chair. Plus my Mom got to talk to his nurse and told her that she wants Dad to have a shower so he can feel the water on his head and skin. He’s just been having bed baths. That is wonderful Julie. This is a big step. I had just a tiny bit of this during long hospital stays. The feel of a shower. The smell of fresh, outside air, the feel of the sun. And that was just weeks, not months! He may make a lot more progress what with this break through. With something like this the progress can be exponential.
