Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. Hello! I think i fell asleep. We think my falling asleep is due to sporadic low blood sugar.. so sorry I missed everyone tonight. I was kind of in and out of it. I am trying to learn how to control my diet appropriately so that I don’t have to go on any additional medication. Not doing so great so far, but I’m learning.
Hi Karen at least you have an idea what is going on and you are probably right. Do you have a monitor to help you keep track of your sugar? You really need a doctor knowledgeable about diabetes and sugar issues.
Hi Debbie. Yes and not yet. But I am looking for an endocrinologist and a dietician/nutritionist. I was previously diabetic, so I know quite a bit about it already.
It is good you do both. More than likely the endocrinologist will have a nutritionist with him, or at least an educator trained in this area. Hopefully you can get it straightened out and feel better. I’ll be going to bed soon but I’ll wait a bit to see if you are here first. Then say good night.
