Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. I can’t believe Julie’s going to be walking home at 10:00 10:30 in the dark by herself. I don’t feel like that’s very safe. I walk at 6:00 in the morning when it’s dark and I’m a little leery at that. Anyway, I hope Julie’s team wins. I hope she gets home safely. I’m going to turn off my phone and I hope to see the end of the game in bed tonight. Good night ladies
She will call me when she is starting home then probably get online to say she is home. There seems to be a lot of people around but as you know I fussed 5 years ago about her walking at night and have ever since. But I understand her to. I always hope someone she knows will take her home.

What is a closer?
Their best pitcher. They usually put him in beginnig of the 9th inning, especially when they’re winning, to keep the other team from scoring any more. But sometimes they do it sooner, like in this instance when Tampa Bay really has to be careful not to let the Brewers score any more
Thank you Karen, I thought the best picture usually played the whole game. I’ve heard of pitchers having a no hitter game. Well, doesn’t that mean they played the whole game and no opposing player was able to get on base?
The pitchers who are not closers can be really good pitchers, and they can pitch any number of innings. If they end up not being able to get the job done, they get kicked out and another pitcher is brought in.The closer can only do a couple of innings usually. If it looks like a “starter” pitcher is going to have a no hitter, and is still pitching fine through the game, they will usually stay in for the ninth so that they can try to get the no-hitter. Just seems to me, and I know nothing, it would be best to have the best pitcher in the whole game unless they are doing badly, injured, tired, or the team is way ahead and want to save the best for the next game.
Hopefully I will stay awake until the end of the game and I will be up early just like always. Doesn’t matter what time I go to bed
