Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. I just got a check in the mail for $300!!!! Last August I got a posts in the mail saying my credit card, etc may have been compromised with Futurity First Insurance group…..so I filled it out for the heck of it and forgot all about it……$300 was the maximum you might get….Rick thinks he should get half!!!! I said that his name isnt on the check……lol
I also got a nice email from Jolene’s sister and she sent pictures from Uncle Johns funeral….I call him that because they do but he is not related. I met him at Jolene’s funeral.
that’s awesome! and that reminds me I need to tell my cousin that she is owed some money..DH looks it up about every year, don’t remember what it’s called but unclaimed funds or something…doesn’t say home much, though but you never know

Hi Pam. When I was little we lived on a farm for 2 years. It was my job to gather eggs. Chickens are really mean. They would peck my hands when I tried to get the eggs out from under them.
They are mean. My sister’s 1st husband had chickens and she always had bleeding hands from those feathered monsters.
Imagine if you tried to get an eagle egg! Bye bye hand!
what?? I was just talking to the caregiver that has chickens, she said they are nice and like pets. She’s going to give us eggs whenever we want them.
