Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. Just back from vet, going to sit down and eat some Wendy’s burgers. Will try to get back on. Dutchess has to have more tests done; I will collect the sample and take it in tomorrow. They think she might have some intestinal parasites. No fever. Hope all is well at the hummer site. 🥰
Hi Karen Marie, good your collecting a sample, animals can get paracites every time they go out side, its good to deworm them once a year
Hi julie. She gets dewormed every year or so. But there’s never been a problem with that. She did need to be expressed this time. She very seldom goes outside actually. She is litter box trained. No kitty litter, though. 😧 Just a bunch of old throw rugs that we cut to the right sizes and can use over and over again. They work great!
Parasites are usually easy to treat. I’m surprised the vet didn’t just go up her rectum. Is that the only new test she will have. Enjoy the Wendy’s burger, I like them. See you later. I’ll watch for you. Hope your face is about healed.

She was totally dry. She had just had a BM before we left the house. I was supposed to bring a sample, but I was so nervous and worried, I forgot. Similar to being the bride and not showing up at the wedding.

Just to cars, I have only been out in my back yard things are ok for me right now-more storms coming
