Loon Nest Live Cam
You are watching a live Loon nest cam. The nest is located in a shallow bog area of a lake in the Lakes Region of New Hampshire.
Nesting season starts in May. Once eggs are laid incubation occurs for 28 days before hatching. The local time is displayed on the bottom left of the video.
Nesting Information: Egg laying usually occurs late May to mid June every year. Remember, loonlets fledge within 24hours of hatching.

temps are in the high 80’s and 90’s, this loon looks hot it’s a good thing they can just dip into the water to cool off lol, they have been able to keep this clutch of eggs safe so far, hatch date is in about 9 or ten days, stay tuned!

a look at the two eggs laid around 9:46AM on Friday, June 12’th and another at around 7:30PM on Sunday, June 14’th. Estimated hatch window is July 10-12. so far so good!
