This nest has a Facebook page. Yesterday it reported that The big kids, very likely as a group with other juveniles, broke out on SO 02.08. in the morning (Day 97/97/95, week 13+) towards the south. If you overlay the GPS sender data over a map, a trajectory can be shown based on the time stamp. This morning they crossed the Lake Constance and were already in Zurich.
Last year the adult storks did not fly south. They spent the winter on the nest.
And then there was one?😀
I noticed that they are starting to test their wings! Maybe they will be flying soon. I remember past years when the parents sit on the church roof, encouraging their children to fly to them!

They are getting so big! It seems like there has been a lot of rain lately!
