Yay! 🌟 Hutch you did it! Hutch fledged at 5:51 am June 25th. The video of his fledge is posted by HNF above. Hutch returned to the nest at 14:02.
Maz has been gone for 3 days now. I hope that she’s okay, and that she didn’t get hurt when landing from her fledge. I also hope that the parents have brought her something to eat. The individuals who monitor the nest said that this was Maz on June 22nd in a tree close by where the parents perch. Fingers crossed that Maz will return to the nest today.
Sid and Hutch were on the branch together. Sid was blocking Hutch, so Hutch jumped up over Sid
and flew back to the nest. Our little Hutch is growing up. He’ll be fledging soon too. I hope that he eats before he fledges. Today Stella brought two fish. Sid claimed and ate both of them. Hutch didn’t eat anything today, but he did have fish yesterday.
