Good afternoon 💗 I thought I posted this morning…..but didn’t. 😜 This morning I placed an order with Walmart. Ordered more Marketside fresh asparagus. I enjoyed asparagus for lunch today. Delicious!!! DD will be coming for a four day visit on the 16th. 💕 She wants me to make a list of things that need to be done. Top of the list will be to take down and wash all the short valances on some of our windows. Second to wash the comforter on my bed. We are looking forward to her visit. Have a… Read more »

I’d love asparagus, we’ll have to find some..no more farm stand. That will be such a nice visit and it’s great that she will be getting some things done also.

Heading to bed shortly, but wanted to write and ihope the chat stays since my other disappeared later..yesterday to VA for a on his eye surgery all went well. He does not go back again until July.. I had wound care and I have a sore on each side of my ankle that broke back open and it was from all the walking I did yesterday so I will not be doing that again. See specialist on Friday for my ankle. Yesterday we had some excitement in the neighborhood, not far from us where a mountain lion appeared.. police called… Read more »

I am sorry you have two new sores from all the walking yesterday. (((hugs))) Sometimes hospitals have wheel chairs and volunteers could take you to where you need to go. Ask next time you go.
When will your DH have his eye surgery? July ? Glad appointment yesterday went well.
Wow….a mountain loin in your area. 😵 Seems they did a great job taking care of it and releasing.
Take care 💜

I saw something on the news about a bear, but missed the mountain lion. Glad they relocated it, but hope it wasn’t a mama with little ones somewhere. I worried about that with the bear too.

Well, sleeping on the recliner worked well, even though nit hadn’t seemed to work while watching TV. It is a bit of a process, moving CPAP machine back and forth, but that also helps me to sleep (and get better sleep) – and I am so used to it. I ended up waking up at about 6 am with the sunrise (I hadn’t looked for my eye masks) and moved to the bedroom, but was even able to get back to sleep for about 2 hours there.  I didn’t feel like I slept as well but I did wake up… Read more »

Glad the recliner is helping to give you sleep with your back pain.
Did you schedule for a massage?
I don’t want anyone touching my back 😉 Never want or have had a massage.

I wasn’t sure about massages but my chiro said it was really necessary and very important to go along with her treatment, but then I was in bad shape. It felt so relaxing, almost fell asleep.

Good afternoon…cloudy and chilly today…washing bedding now, not sure what else I’ll do. I had veg. soup for lunch. DH is busier than usual, doesn’t even get back to me on questions I want answered, didn’t work on dog homework last week, and more..I try not to think about it, or I’ll go nuts..the list keeps getting longer…so…getting my things done today and that’s all I can do. Happy Cinco de Mayo!

Good morning 💛 Will feel like a summer day here in PA. Sunny and a very warm 85°.
Phila 76ers had a bad loss last night. 76ers 98 – Knicks 137 😔
Today is Cinco de Mayo day. 🌮
Cinco de Mayo, in Mexico a relatively minor holiday, but in the United States, an excuse to indulge in margaritas, cervezas or beer, guacamole and tacos.
Wishing you a good day. Take care 💛

Woke up this morning and really wanted top sleep longer, but needed to get moving to feel better. May try sleeping in the recliner in the living room tonight and see if that is different. Unfortunately the sun coming up will probably wake me up early, and I have no idea where my old eye masks are. Did a load of sheets, got a return and some other information ready to mail, and received some information via email that would allow me to finish two tax returns and worked on them. However, in the middle of the afternoon the power went… Read more »

Sorry you lost your power and it gave you issues with tax returns you were working on.
Great your DH ordered UPS so these issues won’t happen again 👍
I hope sleeping in the recliner will be better for you. I keep heating pad by my recliner.
I rotate from bed to recliner throughout the night 🙄 If I stay in bed too long I have back pain.
How nice to have visits with DBIL and DSIL now. Enjoy!!!

Actually, it worked out pretty well on the recliner, even though I was skeptical from prior attempts. It is a bit of a process, moving CPAP machine back and forth, but that also helps me to sleep (and get better sleep) – and I am so used to it. I’m not sure I slept as well but I did wake up with less pain.
