This is a live feed of wild barns owls named the Lorton Meadows Barn Owls brought to you by the Dorset Wildlife Trust, United Kingdom. The male has a white chest and face. He usually shows up after dark but has spent an entire day with the female.

How nice – Miami & Bahamas. My parents went to the Bahamas for their 2nd honeymoon. On first they had car trouble and ended up taking the train to NY city (got married in Maryland).

It was warmer at 7.30a than it was all day yesterday; of course, when i got up yesterday, it was snowing; the sun is shining today. 🙄 As cold as it was, the leaves don’t look all curled and dead from freezing. There are lots of Jacaranda’s in town, i’ll have to drive around to see how they fared. This weather is so weird.
Chuck made marinara pasta with shrimp and sea scallops 😋
Yummy dinner, .. our Jacarandas are in full bloom…are so pretty…we could write a book for very ones weather so crazy this year, all the tornadoes…

Good morning friends 💙 A partly cloudy day with a high of 66°. Watched Survivor last night. So many different twists on this 50th year. Two were eliminated last night. The new percolator coffee pot burned itself out. 😮 Coffee was super hot. The inside was scorched. Bought it from Amazon and could not return it to Kohl’s. Only option to return was to pay $7.99 for UPS for pick up to return. 🤑 We purchased a Mr. Coffee type coffee maker with no frills…just on and off button….lol Works great and cost less than… Read more »
Oh my! That is a real pain about the percolator. Definitely something wrong with it to have that happen so soon.

We are happy with the Mr. Coffee type replacement. Makes very good coffee.
Wow, that was not good, I love Mr Coffee, our son bought us an expensive coffee pots, it took pods, that got to be expensive, so went bak to Mr. Coffee.., I guess if the pot was used Amazon won’t take back…. I would send it back and ask for a refund… that is a lot of money Sorry that happened..
YIKES! You just bought that percolator — it stinks that it broke so quickly; right after the return policy expired 😠
DB/Chuck loves his Mr Coffee, but he does forget to turn it off on occasion.
Ours has a timer on it and goes off its self!.. really works
He wishes he’d sprung for the upgraded version with the timer 🤔
that’s a bummer, but I like the little coffee pot…we have a keurig but mostly I use ground coffee in the filter..once in awhile I use Cameron’s ecopods coffee.
It is well worth it
When coffee is done I turn it off and unplug. So, we don’t need the frills type.
I don’t trust leaving coffee pots plugged in.
Sleeping on the recliner still seems to work better for now than sleeping in our bed. I slept there all night this time. Met my friends for coffee and book study. Home to pay bills and answer emails, and make a few phone calls. Did a load of laundry and folded it. Watched the Chicago shows. Can’t believe next week are the season finales! Cloudy today and a bit cooler. Temps 46 to 64.

Happy Wednesday Lovely Owl People 💖 Woke to 35 degrees and snow falling; should snow/rain all day, it’s 40 @ 3.30p/EDT. Estes Park, gateway to Rocky Mountain Nat’l Park, has gotten 28 inches, so far. 🌨 i overslept til almost 9a; the clowder was not happy; not only did they have to walk across the street in the weather, b-fast was late 😏 The neighbors across the street keep 1 half of their garage open so the ferals have shelter; they also have food/water out, but you know cats 🙄 My porch is covered… Read more »

Good afternoon…last night we went to FIL’s house, chatted for just a bit..we were out anyway, went to Aldi which isn’t far from his house. For lunch I made egg salad..added homemade pickles, yum. Drinking my tea now and going to check out the exciting Cocodona 250 race..DS was in it the first year and I was glued..it’s live and the scenery is beautiful!
