Good Saturday morning to you. 💚 A very cloudy day here with a high of 66°. Expecting showers throughout the day. Lawn was mowed yesterday and cleaning lady did a good job cleaning our house. Laundry will be the chore of the day. Hope all goes well, because last laundry day a clog had laundry tubs overflow a bit. DH had to unclog the clean out valve. Sure hope it is all fixed this time around. Easy dinner with Chili I had in the freezer. All the Philly teams not doing so well… 🏀 .basketball, ⚾ baseball… Read more »

I don’t do steps, I use the walker all the time.
DH takes laundry down and does the wash.
I get laundry together, fold and put away.
Team work. 💕

Slept better last night and less pain. Had a client come by and drop off some bookkeeping work for me. He was visiting Taiwan (his home country) last week and brought me back some Bamboo crackers and some freshly harvested Oolong tea. Probably the most exotic gift I have ever gotten from a client. Renewed the registration for one of our cars online. Finished that complex return and put it in the mail to the client. Did some tax projections for a client. Refilled bird and squirrel feeders. Ran errands – Post office, pharmacy, and grocery store. Watched Sherriff and… Read more »

How nice to receive such exotic gifts from a client.
Are the bamboo crackers good?

They are actually! They are fried, and they are very plain with just a touch of sweetness.

Oh Chris, that tea sounds wonderful 😋 Lynn, and I apparently, have a bazillion questions on how it tastes, how much did you have to use to get a good flavor.

I am not a tea connoisseur, but it was good. They were in teabags. Apparently you pick out your fresh leaves at one place and can take them to another place where they grind them to whatever consistency you like and package them in teabags and separate foil packets for you. I’ll post photos tomorrow.

Good evening….I let my DB’s dog out, took him in..then we played with ours in the yard, frisbee..DH is eating leftovers but I’m not hungry. I had the Cub on but now DH is watching a cartoon western, kind of different but cute..my mom has been pretty excited about the Cubs doing so well lately. Time to feed the dogs and in awhile, relax..

After Landon’s teachers nominated him to the National Honor Society, he had to write an essay on why he should be accepted. Sis just called to let me know he was accepted & is now a member in good standing 💘

Beautiful day, a sunny 77; so nice having windows/doors open. Got my hair refreshed for the graduation next week; it was very faded & way too much gray showing — UGH
Watched a couple Stephen Colbert’s, the Pres Obama interview and the one with Sally Field/Chris Stapleton. 💗 Chris thanked Stephen and his staff for their support and kindness over the years; always making sure the guests were well-cared for 💖
Stephen’s wife, Evvie, looked stunning to do the Mother’s Day cards. 👗

Good morning 💛 A lovely Friday with sunshine and a high of 67°. Walmart order all put away from yesterdays delivery. Delivery gal a bit rough with bags she brought in. Some packages were not in the best of shape….and I told her so. She tried to blame it on others, but I saw how she handled the bags. Some of water bottles are bent on the top. 🙄 Cleaning lady is schedule to arrive by 11am. She told us our house is her easiest to clean….no little ones here. Hope your day is a good… Read more »

Hi Tea…yes, some people can be so rough and not careful. Your house would be very easy…no pets, either, they can be worse than kids!

You are neat people! Sad about the rough treatment of the bags. Sometimes I wonder how they teach packers and delivery people anymore, or even if any of those people have shopped for themselves before and found things not so good when they got home. It seems like it used to be something folks could take pride in doing well. I always find it strange that when I ask for all the cold things to be packed together that the packer is somewhat surprised.

I always asked for cold things to be packed together too. I guess they don’t teach how to pack groceries anymore. I will have a nice chat with her next time if no improvement. 😉

Good luck with that Tea ♥ I don’t understand why they don’t bag groceries they way THEY would like to receive them. 🙄 I usually do order/pick-up at Krogers and have insulated bags right under their noses so they can see them. Then there’s the “Let me fill it so much, she can’t lift the bag”. 😏 I always stand right next to the trunk so i can see what/how they’re doing & rearrange it after they leave. 😘 In Colorado, you either pay 10 cents a bag or bring your own. The way… Read more »

Last night I was in more pain again. Don’t quite know what I did differently. Not as much as earlier, but not as little as the previous few nights. Will keep trying. Made a bunch of appointments today. Signed up with a chiropractor for a massage on June 1st! The physical therapist (not massage) is on May 15th,.I will use whatever appointments work out best for me. Called septic company because we got a letter from the county saying we needed to get our septic system inspected. I guess this house is in a “watershed area” so we get told… Read more »

I think you will get good results from the chiropractor, I went to one a few years ago for something and it helped a lot

Geez Chris, i’m so sorry your back pain isn’t better 🙏 Good idea to work with both. In Phoenix, my chiropractor had 3 massage therapists on staff; i’d see him and walk across the hall for the ‘good stuff’. i was very spoiled.
