This is a live feed of wild barns owls named the Lorton Meadows Barn Owls brought to you by the Dorset Wildlife Trust, United Kingdom. The male has a white chest and face. He usually shows up after dark but has spent an entire day with the female.
Hello…just had chicken and biscuits from the deli, for lunch. It’s a very nice day, 70 and sunny. I don’t have a lot planned …so maybe a couple dog walks, sit on the porch, etc. I don’t feel like being very productive, lol..

Tried sleeping in the bed last night. It felt so comfy and good at first, but got worse as the night went on and woke up feeling awful. Guess it’s back to the recliner for a while. Hot shower only helps a tiny bit. Met with my friends for coffee and books discussion. Then to the hairdresser to get my roots touched up. Made a stop for bird & squirrel food, and for chicken for our dinner on the way home. Had some lunch and then took a bit of a nap. DH arrived home from business trip in time… Read more »

Yes the cliffhangers. were really something… now have to wait…..’I can’t color my hair until it heals from the sugary. Donna is home and will wash and set it Thursday.. After she dries it , has to put Vaseline on the 3 spots..
I get that. I fell and hit my head as a teenager and got 6 stiches in my head. They wouldn’t even let me wash the blood out of my hair until the stiches were out – couldn’t get stitches wet. Except rules were different back then, so I went to my mom’s hairdresser and they were able to wash the rest of my hair using their special sinks and hoses and keep away from the stiches area. Got my results early afternoon,, Dr said it was what she expected.. so she said someone will call me a appt for consultation and set a appt for surgery.. will be the Mohs surgery and she is asking them to expedite it.. we took quite a few bags to the recycling center today, still have more as we only go once a year..but couldn’t get any more in the car… we had 84 today was suppose to be 72,,, lol Stripped our cal-king bed and put clean sheets on and and did. 2 loads laundry, salon watered the 2nd half… Read more »

Back from dermatologist. Dr. zapped one pre cancerous spot on my upper chest, near left shoulder.
DH had two spots where doctor took biopsies. One on left temple area and one on left side back of neck.
Sure hope he does not need Mohs surgery again. 🙏
I packed us sandwiches before we left….came home and enjoyed lunch.

Good morning friends 💛 Sun rays this morning with clouds taking over by afternoon. Rain expected throughout the night, but clearing by early morning. Our high temperature today will be 74°. Perfect!!!
We have appointments for annual skin check with dermatologist this morning. I don’t like leaving the house anymore….so glad when this is over.
Today is National Apple Pie day. Seems this should be in the fall season. Apple crumb pie is my favorite. I request it in place of birthday cake each year.

apple pie is more of a fall pie to me, too…this is the season for peach and blueberry 😀😋 I like apple crisp but rarely have it…used to be a dessert when I was in jr. high.

Yeah, all the Apple festivals are in the fall. Maybe this is really for all those people who canned apples in the fall to use those to make pie.
This morning I had a 2 hour tax seminar on the IRS’s Automated Collection System. How exciting! 🙄 Then I finished putting together a return for a client to pick up on Thursday. Another client came by today to sign and pick up their return. I filed returns for two tiny non-profits that I work with. Had my church home group zoom meeting. Watched NCIS and NCIS Sydney. Well our 92 yesterday went down to 66 today, very cloudy, it felt like it was going to rain, but none in the forecast…. But is cool out..I went to wound care today and he said I went backwards,, so he is treating it the same as always, no wonder it hurt all weekend’’..I picked up my prescriptions at the pharmacy, and got the wrong inhaler-so sent a message to my Dr.. so will see what happens..last evening I watered the back yard and watched the birds for an hour, I took the bird feeder on our patio while watering… Read more »
