Good morning. 💜 Showers ☂ off and on during the day. It will be a warm 84° this afternoon. Medicare sent update of bills they paid or did not pay. Some date back to 2025. 😏 Seems complicated to follow all the information given. Gave me some stress. 😣 Decided to just file the 14 pages away and if a bill comes in, I will deal with it then. Usually our supplemental insurance (Independence Blue Cross) covers most. Our supplemental Blue Cross went up 20%..😮…we each pay over $78 more starting July 1st. You must save for your retirement years,… Read more »

Medical insurance can be a mess to follow.

Got a text this morning saying the physical therapist had a cancellation and could I come in this afternoon. I said Yes, and so I got to go in. Therapist encouraged me to follow up with the orthopedic as she would like to see some imaging. So I called and left a message and they are supposed to get back to me tomorrow. We’ll see. It will be a month since the referral was sent to them tomorrow. Otherwise, I did a load of laundry, and worked on a few tax returns, sent out questions and got some answers. Had… Read more »

Howdy-do Lovely Owl People 🦉🦉 Sunny/warm; only about 75 today, compared to 90 of the last few days 🌞 Up early for a load of towels; set the dryer-timer for 60 mins & the larger ones were still more than damp — i hate this dryer 😠 Went to brush my teeth/spit and there was no water! Chuck was lucky, he’d been out of the shower for about 10 mins when the water decided to take a walk on the dry-side 😏 It came back on, then off again, off and on for the next couple hours. I can always… Read more »

Gwen, the water thing happens every once in a while. School is out on Fridays, so that’s a favorite day for them to be futzing about and now that school’s out for the summer, it’ll be even more of a surprise. I understand the need for maintenance, but it would be nice to get a text or email from them to let us know what day/approx what time it’s happening 😠 Grrrr

Write them a nice letter and ask to let you know ahead of time…..we get alert calls when they do maintenance.

They’re good about answering the phone and when they’re not in the office, their back-up is pretty responsive. Remember, i live in a town of 3800 people, not exactly a bustling metropolis with 24-hour coverage 😂

Is that a new dryer? I know you replaced some appliance. Sorry you are having water problems.

Yes Chris, it’s the new Whirlpool i had to get a few months ago 😠 and i did run it for 60 mins. That amt of time on the Samsung would’ve been more than enough.

Perhaps the new dryer needs service to see why it is not drying well.
The warranty should cover the cost.

Good morning. Finally, we have sun. Rain for the last week has everything looking green and lush. Mostly sunny today with a high of 82°. i did so many little tasks yesterday. It felt good to accomplish something. The A-fib comes and goes, so I guess yesterday it left. I watched some of the semi truck road trip video I posted last evening. Just skimmed through it and got the idea of what it was like to be driving a semi. Kind of scary at times, but the mountain views were beautiful. I took the video down that I posted.… Read more »

Today I worked mostly on a client who has to change their withholding and works on the border of two states, lives in one, and files in another. One spouse has way too little withheld, and it needs to be straightened out so they don’t owe $10 in April! The questions and scenarios kept changing each time I would send a solution, so it kept me busy much of the day. They still need to decide what they are going to do – change withholding, make estimated payments, some combo, or do nothing now and deal with it next year.… Read more »
