This is a live feed of wild barns owls named the Lorton Meadows Barn Owls brought to you by the Dorset Wildlife Trust, United Kingdom. The male has a white chest and face. He usually shows up after dark but has spent an entire day with the female.
Watched some of the Knicks parade and opening of the Obama center today; they both gave wonderful speeches; Michelle’s made her DH cry. Spent time cleaning the stove and rest of the kitchen. UGH. Now that i think about it, don’t think i got anything else done. 🙄 One of my Canadian friend’s had back surgery today; she’s been in agony for almost a year. Hope your friend’s surgery relives her pain. When I took care of my MIL’s wound care, the home health nurse was impressed and said I should be a nurse. I said – Oh no! I’m only doing this because I have to – no one else in the family would and she needed it.
Bless you for taking care of your sister for 3 weeks after back surgery.💕
I always took care of my Mom when she needed care. It was an act of love and so happy to help her in time of need.
The potatoes were delicious!!!! Made with no salt and made a good lunch.😋 One more serving left for another day.

Home from petsitting for awhile..came home earlier and watched the Obama center grand opening..DH just came home and left, no caregiver this evening so he’s it. I’ll either make mac and cheese or have Stouffer’s lasagna. The weather seems so cool, high in the 70s and that’s how it will be for awhile, I think. I had fun playing outside with the dogs and sitting in the sunroom at times, reading and watching them. Have a good evening 😍

PGA golf ⛳The US Open starts today in Southampton, NY…..very foggy and windy today for the players. The NY Knicks will be having their parade today. 🏀 They expect more than one million to show up. Met my friends for coffee and book discussion this morning. Then stopped at Wild Birds and and strawberry stand on the way home. Had a phone meeting with a client. Paid bills and updated checkbooks. Set up appointment for driver’s license renewal. This system is SO much better than the old way – just show up and stand in line forever. There are always a few just show up people, but they get fit in between appointments or are handled by one specific person (and if they have to wait a while…on well) and all the rest handle appointments in order… Read more »

Another very warm day, 104; but no t-storms/tornadoes nor wildfires, i consider myself lucky 😘 I read where several of Boston’s pubs have run out of beer, thanks to the Scotsmen/women visiting for the World Cup 🍺 One of the funniest is that even the distributors have run out. 🍻 Pub owners said they were having their best day EVER — $$$ . So glad they’re having fun.

Good afternoon. Well we are a little cooler today , 87 and partly cloudy. Partly from all the fires…so I am staying pretty much in as air is not so good… I was cleaning bathroom walls today, I am now seeing spots on the walls, since eye surgery, . I am seeing everything,, I am so embarrassed it was like that.. and I had a bath towel on rack in front bathroom I thought was blue and I saw it was grey… oh Lordy. Congratulations on the new eyes!!! When another of my friends had that done a few years ago, she was mortified by what her house looked like . 😄 Pretty sure her DH couldn’t see any better than she could.

Though I swear, no matter what DH and I see colors differently! For example, he thinks the large hefty garbage bags (like you put leaves or yards waste in) are green! They are BLACK! And the rest of the family agrees with me.
