This is a live feed of wild barns owls named the Lorton Meadows Barn Owls brought to you by the Dorset Wildlife Trust, United Kingdom. The male has a white chest and face. He usually shows up after dark but has spent an entire day with the female.
Good late morning….DH is working out of town so I’ll take the dogs for a walk or two since he won’t be taking them outside to play. I don’t have much planned…my aunt and uncle stopped by (they are in town for an appt) and picked up my aunt’s Avon order. Later my mom will stop by, after her lunch with friends, for a couple apples and I have some pictures to show her. It’s a bit chilly, 60s today, will warm up in a day or two.

We really should take the dogs walking more, but DH’s blood sugar doesn’t always cooperate. Plus right now, he has caught the cold I am still getting over and he is miserable.
colds are catching no matter how far you try to stay away from the person..fingers crossed that hopefully I don’t catch one….that time of year..🙏🙏💕

Good morning 🍂 A rather cloudy day with a high temperature of 67°. A developing early‑autumn nor’easter is expected to bring heavy rain, strong winds, rough surf, and coastal flooding to parts of the Mid‑Atlantic and New England through the weekend. Walmart delivery this morning. I started to stock up for winter in case of snow storms. Several cans of evaporated milk top of list. Don;t want to be without milk and don’t like the powders type for emergency. I will have a PB and banana sandwich for lunch today. DH ….PB and orange marmalade. Hi Tea..are you supposed to get the rain and strong wind where you are? I remember my mom having the powdered milk on hand once in awhile…it was just ok. I don’t buy milk now but always have heavy cream, in the summer when I make smoothies I use the unsweetened vanilla almond milk, or unflavored, both are good.
The storm is a coastal one….we are about 90 minutes from the ocean in NJ.
Weather people say we may have some rain here over the weekend.

Will be heading to bed soon , as the VA called today and DH made an appt tomorrow in Oceanside to see his dermatologist at 11:30 am, we could get effects from the hurricane from Pacific , tomorrow to be mostly cloudy.. got pretty windy this afternoon..
I watered the back yard today, it was fun watching the doves and other birds playing in the sprinkler, never seen this before..I should have taken an video of it… that was my excitement for the day… lol

Spent most of the day paying bills and worked some on that same tax return. Had our church home group zoom meeting. DH went to the cable store to get new cable boxes for our new TV (as well as our old one). Folded one load of laundry. Got to watch an old episode of All Creatures Great and Small on the new TV. Temps today 49 to 73 mostly cloudy.

Hello..finished laundry today..it was pretty quiet, DH was home working all day. Tonight we went to the farm store..got cat food and treats, dog food, Nature’s Miracle spray, trail mix, and coffee. Watching the Voice now and soon AGT.
and Tea, just saw your question..yes Bane went to the groomer..he just got his nails trimmed..we only do one bath at a time, takes so long and we stay there…sometimes they both just get their nails done, and no baths.
Quiet days are nice, as well as shopping at the farm store.
Next time Bane gets a bath…..please post some pictures.

Well we had a steady drizzle all day and more showers expected tonight. Our low will be about 55°. A miserable weather day. NP Tom said thumb issue is not related to lower spine…..rather the upper spine neck area. Since it started in shoulder, then went down arm and now in the thumb….shows issue may be healing with rest and taking Advil. He wants me to have that “nerve test” EMG.😟 He feels it will show exactly where the problem is. I am not a good patient ….and will schedule the EMG test………. if no improvement the next few weeks.… Read more »
I’m not a good patient either but don’t mind going to the chiro. I hope it gets better so you don’t have to have the EMG.
Well, I’d encourage you to have the nerve test, but that’s me – the more info the better to make decisions with.
When we get older…..sometimes we don’t want to know. 🙄

I’ve had the nerve test, it’s a little shocking 😄 but not bad, it’s certainly up to you but you will get more answers if you do it
The NP Tom said he is almost sure it is cervical radiculopathy.
Common symptoms of cervical radiculopathy include neck pain radiating into the shoulder or arm, numbness or tingling in the fingers or hand, muscle weakness typically affecting one side of body.
