Woke up this morning to invasion of the ants in the kitchen, yuck spent an hour cleaning them up,DH had bought fumigators a couple weeks ago, we had pest control out a month ago as a precaution, but the months of heat did not help, we are back up to 85-90 again. So this evening when we go out to dinner DH is going to set them off.., will be putting Becca in a cage in the shop for that time.. looks like having more high temps again for awhile..we have 89 as I write this and 67% humidity with… Read more »
Hi Gwen…we used those ant traps in out of the way places, they worked well and not where dogs or cats were.f
So sorry for the ant invasion in your kitchen. I hope the fumigators work.
We have those tiny ants in early spring. I have a spray bottle with half white vinegar and half water. I spray the inside kitchen windowsills about once a week for a month. I also wipe down the counter with the spray. Seems to work for us.

Yuck about the ants. We have pest control for that and it generally keeps them outside. We have had stinging ants outside that we had to treat because I could not go outside to walk the dog in sandals.

Good morning. 💜 Another cloudy start to the day with a high of 67°. NJ coast is preparing for the approaching storm. Ocean is very rough right now with high waves. Flooding is expected in many areas with high tides. Yesterday I went over the referral for EMG test. It stated “possible cervical radioculopathy on right side. I really hope a neck pillow helps you 🙏 Occasionally, i think about using my travel pillow when i feel myself falling asleep in the recliner 🙄 Also, look up any physical therapy-type exercises that may help alleviate the pain/numbness. 💗

Never thought of a neck pillow in rec liner. I find a regular pillow works well, but I guess it depends on the chair. Hope it helps.
Went to friend’s house for coffee and book discussion. We were missing two ladies (one has this cold/flu going around and the other had a migraine), but we still got caught up. I got a piece of plastic hose stuck in the bottom of my car when I ran over it. Made noise all the way there, but was simple to pull out once I stopped. No rain in the forecast, said the hurricane will stay off shore this week, but it could change, we now have 91 and sunny and windy.. We just got back from DH’s Dr appt, he got sapped about 25 times on back of his hands and arms, also got one on his ear edge..
