This is a live feed of wild barns owls named the Lorton Meadows Barn Owls brought to you by the Dorset Wildlife Trust, United Kingdom. The male has a white chest and face. He usually shows up after dark but has spent an entire day with the female.

I need to have a Starbucks Eggnog Frappuccino before they go away. Sounds like you are doing pretty well, except for that ankle.
On the Frappe I never get whip cream as it kinda takes the taste of egg nog away..I may ge another one tomorrow. Has been my favorite’’’ My face is doing better’ I asked the nurse yesterday why there is so much pain and she said that right below the ankle area are so many nerves’’ My DIL,told me last night there is a medication for the nerves that isn’t.for pain. Going to send my Dr a message about it’’’ as I don.t like taking pain meds if i don’t need it’’

Good afternoon…DH and I went out to a cute little restaurant…I got gourmet grilled cheese and potato soup..he got a reuben. Going to do this and that today…and sipping tea.

I am learning to roast more vegetables. They taste really good. I tried adding raw carrots to a casserole and learned that lesson – that carrots take a long time. I knew that but….
I love roasting vegetables’’ yes carrots take foreverr’’. No wonder when you get them in a restaurant they are hard, we always ask for veg to be soft anymore’’
Today first I contacted a local estate and auction dealer and found he was interested in DB’s collection of 400+ pipes and 19 pipe holders!! Yay! Made an appt for Thursday. I also emailed the World Language dept at the HS to see if they wanted a few things DB wants to give them. Haven’t heard back on that/ Then we took items to the some more shirts and leather jackets and bags to the Humane Society Thrift store, and about 5 shopping bags of paper to recycling center. He is no longer collecting things and is now willing to get rid of stuff instead. It still has to happen on his timeline.

Good evening…this afternoon we went to some stores…got a flavored mustard set for my DB (also a gift card at the farm store), stuffed olives and dill mustard for DH, a Walmart gift card for BIL, dog and cat treats, and walked around Goodwill….good to be home…doing a load of laundry and will just relax..
oh! and at the clothing store…all Christmas items were half off…I found some cute and comfy slippers (lt blue with snowflakes on them), and then got 15% more off for bringing donations to the pet shelter (I had three cat food cans and a towel) so they came to $9…told my mom and she wants to buy them from me and will be part of my present (we do that a lot, lol)..sounds good to me..she’ll also have treats and maybe a surprise of two for me.
Those blue slippers with snowflakes sound really cute. A nice gift from mom…😉

Howdy-do Lovely Owl People 🎄 Up early — cleaned the stove/kitchen while waiting for the phone tech to call ⏰☎ The tech felt so bad about it not working since Friday; said he really should’ve stopped by to make sure it was working; we chatted for about 10-15 mins; he gave me his cell# Big relief! I saved $56.63 on coupons/savings this month; some of the food/products will roll over to next month. As for the phone tech, he was on the phone, but he didn’t seem to want to hang up. 😏 Kinda like the guy that installed the new internet last week. He didn’t want to leave my house. You know how when an installer/helper is finished with the job they were there to perform? They leave. That guy wouldn’t go. I asked him several times if there was anything else. Good morning friends ♥ Our coldest weather in a long time today. Roads are plowed, but many icy spots. The wind took care of removing that heavy snow on tree branches. Will finish up Christmas cards today. Placed gifts in gift bags yesterday. (I love gift bags instead of wrapping) Weight gain continues…..UGH!!! Taking extra water pill today. If I called my cardiologist, I know they would tell me to go to ER. Nope….not doing that as I feel I would never come home again. I do have appointment with cardiologist in January. I wrap some but most go in gift bags…for my sister I usually wrap a book or two, dvd and /or cd, and maybe some tea, then put it all in a gift bag.
