This is a live feed of wild barns owls named the Lorton Meadows Barn Owls brought to you by the Dorset Wildlife Trust, United Kingdom. The male has a white chest and face. He usually shows up after dark but has spent an entire day with the female.
Hello…busy time of year, too busy actually…I’m petsitting and trying to take care of ours and the house, seeing DS once in awhile and my sister…my sister and I had lunch and a gift exchange at an Italian restaurant..I got Italian grilled cheese and parmesan garlic fries. My cousin gave me lots of cookies that she baked, an ornament that she made, and a gift card for the coffee shop. I’ve been keeping up with reading the chat, just not much time to post…have a good evening, friends. 💕
so far I’ve gotten books, coffees, tea, dvd, tons of treats (too many), a cat calendar, a small wallet with an owl on it, etc..
Busy time with family and petsitting.

It is a busy time of year. Glad at least that you have gotten some chances to see both DS and your sister. What makes it Italian Grilled cheese – a different kind of cheese? Parmesan garlic fries sound good, though I also like my fires plain with salt.
Happy Boxing Day — friends in the U.K. are boxing up their charity donations 🎁 Mostly cloudy, heading to 70; other than a shower, which is already done, nothing else on the agenda 😎 The new slippers have already come in handy. This Dell laptop runs hot; it’ll shut itself down if it gets overheated. Anyway, i have a floor fan facing me and it really helps keep the laptop cool; but my feet get so cold, even with a blankie on them. You can get either a Lap Chill Mat or a Laptop Cooling Fan for about $25 that would help with that. Been to Four Corners.

Good morning friends ♥ Very cloudy here with a snow storm arriving this afternoon. Some areas will have ice before the snow starts. Tricky to be out. Bad timing for travelers along the east coast. We had a lovely quiet Christmas. DH was excited to try out his new Weber gas grill. He grilled pork tenderloins for our dinner. It went well with roasted carrots and potatoes. Had a nice Christmas Day! For breakfast we had our standard scrambled eggs with sausage crumbles, potatoes, peppers, and onions mixed in. Then opened gifts and stockings. Refilled the bird/squirrel feeders. For our big midday meal with had Ham, mashed potatoes, broccoli, shrimp cocktail, and cheddar biscuits. DD made the biscuits an they are gluten free. They were really good! We watched the original black and white “Miracle on 34th Street” which is a must for DD and I each Christmas. We played a new game DD brought – Mantis. Hope everyone had a Safe & Happy Christmas Day 🎄 Sunny and got to 76 degrees; the 3 of us had a nice day; i got a pair of warm/massage slippers & some serious cash. Chuck loved his pizza stone; even if it was broken; i’ll be notifying the pampered chef host about replacing it. I knew Rick would like his portable heater for warming the bathroom in preparation for a shower. Christmas Day a good one for you and your brothers.
Busy day today. Did some additional decorating. Then off to 3 pm Christmas Eve service, cause that fit better with DH’s meal schedule than the 7 pm one. Very good service. Visited with some friends. DD got to see some people she hasn’t seen in a while. Then off to pick up a few things at the grocery store, and the pet store, and gas. We had steak for dinner. Then off to wrap presents. Have been really busy, we are leaving in the morning ’’we had rain all day. But showing no tomorrow morning’’ was very windy. Poured several,times’’ we loaded the car tonight as want to get going in the morning’’ so just the suitcase in the morning’’
Had a text from middle DGS in Tokyo he went o Disneyland today. Said it was only $60 to get in’, so enjoying it’’

No rain foecast. I am up at3:40, changed bandages my self, quite painful…took pain pill does not seem to be helping.. heading back to bed as alarm goes off at 8 am … goodnight❤️🙏
