Good afternoon…sunny, high in the 60s, but feels like 50s with the wind. I’ll be taking the dogs for a couple short walks and work on “doggie homework” with them. Last night we went out to eat (I got a spinach feta omelet) and then went to FIL’s for a short visit. Tonight is fish night…not sure if we’ll get takeout meals or go out somewhere. It’s so nice out, going out for a bit..maybe I’ll find some sticks to pick up, lol..

Where did you pick up the fish meals? Were they expensive?
at a new fast food place..just a bit but I liked it…usually we get meals from the VFW or K of C..I like VFW, such a good cause and you have more options…fish, shrimp, fries, baked potato, etc..so maybe from there next time…DH liked the fish meal at the restaurant that we went to last week. We try different places.
I was thinking of local seasonal “fish fry” like you mentioned. (not restaurants) The price would be expensive now with fish prices so high.
They do it as a fund raiser. We use to go to the pancake breakfasts and spaghetti dinners years ago.

Yes, that will be nice after the blizzard.
Put out new seed cylinder for the birds. Started 2 tax returns and finished one of them. Sent out questions for the other one and got some answers back. Filed another one where I got the signature back. Took Arya to groomer to get her nails trimmed. Then got gas, went to the bank, and picked up a prescription. Did a load of laundry and folded it. Temps today – 36 to 55. Partly cloudy.

Good afternoon, a nice warm day y of 83, to warm for me.. DH and I sat on the patio for awhile this afternoon, low to be 52tonight.. well my eye surgery got canceled due to not enough ophthalmology Dr.s and nurses.. they are 6 weeks behind, but I did meet with the surgeon and he explained everything in detail. So I am looking at 6 weeks at least now, Kaiser strike has ended and some Dr ‘s quit as not enough nurses , so they are trying to get back to normal, fortunately all my Dr and nurses are… Read more »

Unfortunately, that pizza deduction only works if you have employees and give them a staff party, or have a party for clients. Neither of those are my situation. Still, I get my pizza anyway. 🍕
