WBU Barred Owl Nest Box Cam
Watch wild Barred Owls nesting! This page is focused on the lives of a mating pair of Barred owls at a nest box in Indianapolis, Indiana. The female will usually lay 2-3 eggs in the beginning part of March and incubate them for 28-32 days before the first egg hatches. The male provides food for the female while she incubates. There are two cameras providing an inside and outside view. The tree where the nest box is mounted has a metal sleeve on the trunk to prevent any predators from entering. For more information about this camera set-up or to support the stream make a donation at allaboutbirds.org.
