Good morning, The cut on my finger keeps breaking open, it was impossible to keep a regular band aid on it so I went to Walmart nearby to look for steri-stirps. I could not find them but did get waterproof band aids in different sizes in the box and that worked good. Cloudy and windy out, 50 degrees but feels colder. Quite the winter is right Ardy! Very cold winter and now I worry about the fires. Do you remember last year I talked about the fires all around us. It was awful stepping outside you could hardly breath from the smoke.😞

I have only just seen your cut finger report I must have missed that somehow.
I do know how difficult it is to keep a band aid on a cut that always seems to be in a place that used all the time.

Thanks Ice, it seems silly to have a small cut be such a bother but it is deep ( cut it lifting a can lid off that did not open right on the electric can opener ) and keeps bleeding when not covered.
Hey Jenn, glad you were able to find a band-aid that works for your finger. i always had a bottle of liquid band-aid in my desk at work; it stung a bit, but did protect all those finger-cuts. Seems like when fingers get cut, it’s always a spot that won’t hold a regular band-aid. 🙄

Happy Monday! After church I went to Walmart for a few things. They are still working on the new addition to make it a Super store. They really had shelves moved around this week. I commented about to my checkout lady I have known for years. She said they are going to tear off the front wall of the old part and extend the store 10 feet out. They plan on opening in August. It seems like it has been a long time since you said your small Walrmart was being changed to a super Walmart. I hope they get it finished by August. There was supposed to be a Hobby Lobby built right over by our Walmart last year but they haven’t broken ground yet. Last winter they said it would be open in 2025 now they say 2026.

I do take pictures as they have been building it. No, my sister doesnt really like to cook but she does alright cooking…better than I would….haha!!!
It was Johns brothers that Rick grew up with in South Dakota. They are very nice and fun.
I see, Rick grew up near John and his brothers. Rick must have really enjoyed being with them yesterday. ♥
Yes they all had a good time…many laughs. They are a very nice Catholic family and John goes to church daily.
John had 7 brothers and sisters and one of the three sisters died very young from an aneurism.
here they just built a brand new one, it looked huge at first but doesn’t to me now.

But there is a cold and gusty wind blowing from the NW which is taking the temp down.
Just filled the bird feeders and the wind nearly cut me in half.lol.
But back inside I can view the world and the Green in comfort.

Good Morning! Raining and 44 going up to 49. The rain is predicted to last most of the daylight hours which would be great since we are experiencing drought conditions. I slept in until around 7:30 this morning. I have a headache and just took generic Excedrin. I might need to go back to bed in a bit. so yesterday we went to the bakery for breakfast and took the dogs to a wine walk..we just visited the vendor booths so no wining, only walking, etc..well, actually…Scout did LOTS of w(h)ining
at night we had pizza but for a couple hours we were all sleeping, very tired…us and our furkids, lol

I hope all had a nice Valentine’s Day. Denny wanted to take me to breakfast but we just went a couple days ago so I said I would rather stop for coffees and sweets at Dunkins and then go to Michaels Crafts. He waited a long time for me to shop but they had new material and yarn. I see they are slowly getting more inventory like JoAnn’s. Better than Hobby Lobby I think. I bought material and new crochet hook so it was a very fun day.

Good Morning I went to a Memorial at my church yesterday. Its a long story how i met Mary Lou but I was on a mission to find here and one day when leaving church this woman was getting out of her car and i saw her name tag…….she was the most delightful woman in the 10 minutes we talked and then I ran into her around Christmas, she went to the later service. The traffic was even crazier than usual on our roads yesterday too. After Michaels I said lets just stop at Publix for a few groceries and get home off the roads!
