Good Afternoon! Sunny and 64 going up to 69.
This morning I needed to run a bunch of errands. I didn’t have time to check chat until lunchtime. I have one more place to go to before nearby schools let out at 3:00.

When I got home from my first errands I was very hungry but wanted to put my groceries away first before I fixed lunch. So instead I made a quick little snack to eat and used one of my new little 4.7″ plates for the cheese topped Club Minis Crackers 😊

I get mine at the Food Lion grocery store near our neighborhood. I haven’t searched for them yet at Walmart or Target. These crackers are available from Amazon if you can’t find them locally.

Ok thanks. My cousins son is autistic and they are the only crackers he will eat and then she couldnt find them. That is why I asked you. She lives in CA but told me she found them again.
Thanks!!

Beryl, if you are looking in here I thought you might like to see this picture of Fort Gorges, you were interested in this when you noticed it in the past at Hog Island.

In case you missed it this weekend… the Valentine’s Day Bandit made it out to Fort Gorges. View from our live camera in South Portland.

Fort Gorges is a former United States military fort built on Hog Island Ledge in Casco Bay, Maine, United States. Built from 1858 to 1865.

Good morning, 37 degrees going up to 64. Our front porch and door step are made with tiny sand pebble and it has been crumbling in the area on the step mostly used. It was crumbling when we moved here and has gotten worse so Denny asked on our Lakeside Community FB is anyone knew how top repair the step. Often someone will post that they do ‘odd jobs’. A man came and said yes he could do it for $200. so we hired him. He came yesterday and within 15 mins. he was knocking at the door and saying… Read more »

Our house was built in 1959 so its not too bad, considering the age.

Denny just told me the name of the stone is Everstone and there is a company in Myrtle Beach who might be able to help fix it. Otherwise he might just spray paint the area closer to the color of the stone.

Very windy during the night and raining now as predicted.

Good morning. Beryl, Jenn, Ardyth Kathy, Lynn, Pam. A beautiful sunny morning but a very cold night. Bird baths are frozen over but they will thaw out very soon in the sun. More cold nights to come but getting much milder by the weekend. Cloud will mess up the sunshine moving in this afternoon but no rain for few days. What a massive difference half term makes to the traffic through town. There are three local schools all on half term and the morning traffic is virtually non existent. Time for a warming coffee and sticks now see you all… Read more »

Howdy-do Lovely Early Bird People 🐦 Got up late and it’s sheet day; so everything’s off; i hate that. Sunny & around 75 today/Monday. Now we have 50-60 mph winds projected for Tues/Weds, resulting in Fire Watch all over the State, ‘cept for the mountains which means avalanches, rather than fires 😟 Good Grief. Anyone watching the Olympics can see how little snow there is; the mountains surrounding the ski-trails are bare 😔 Chuck made lasagna Sunday 😋 Not much on the agenda for today, just more Olympics; congrats to the women’s hockey team; they just won their semi-final against… Read more »
