Good morning.

It started off early this morning with lovely sunshine now it has clouded over for the day.
Might be the odd shower but mainly dry, a high of 60F.
What a relief that there is no shopping trip this morning, afternoon shopping on Tuesday is the answer.
Plus I have that Pretzel to go with my coffee this morning.
Thursday and Friday looking to be wet days but the weekend looking fine.
Time to brew up now will catch you all soon.😀😘

Not normally but the Pretzel now is a day old and I think it needs heating.

I was motivated to check inside one of my kitchen cabinets and found three items to donate that I bought a while ago but never used (pizza crisper pan, muffin tops pan and tulip cupcake liners). The box of cupcake liners was never opened. In addition to the 4 tins from yesterday, there are also items of clothing that Craig purged in the past week.
that’s a cute tin, upper right…I’d probably set out out in the spring, early summer..maybe put teabags in it or just to look cute..I always have some just sitting out. the snowman one, I’d put with my snowman collection 😀 maybe even set a couple small snow men/women on top.
Great ideas so perhaps whoever buys my already donated tins will use them in similar ways 😉

Yeah, if I had been using them it would have made sense to hold on to them. But they were just taking up space in the lower cabinet section of our dining room hutch.
Good Morning! Sunny and 24 going up to 48 but thankfully it won’t be as windy today like yesterday. It was a good thing I didn’t go outside yesterday as the wind chill was brutal. I did a little more purging yesterday. I have a number of tins that I used to put holiday treats in but I realized I haven’t used them in years because I prefer transparent containers now. I have many of those Christmas tins that i either bought or received, all in good condition because I never used them.
I am that person that thinks ” maybe i will use them………someday!! Never happens.
When It is warmer in the shed I want to go through my plastic drawers where i keep my xmas things and purge.
I have always had those same thoughts. I finally decided that if I haven’t used items in 3+ years then I should get rid of them. I figure there’s someone out there that has a need for the items I’ve not been using.
Yes I really need to let some things like tins go…..no sentimental value

I have tins and store Christmas decorations in them, even the small ones..I keep them to use as gift containers or more decorations..I just keep the ones I really like, donate the rest. oh, and I set out several! here and there as decorations, Christmas and winter.

Only 29 degrees, just feels bitter cold outside with the winds still here.
I did shopping and errands yesterday, it was too cold to be outside the wind was really howling.

Good morning It was like spring here yesterday. It was 81°. Rick pulled all the weeds out of the garden….getting ready for planting.
I called my one and only Aunt Maxine that I have left yesterday. We had a nice talk for 45 minutes.

She is my mom’s youngest sister of five girls, soon to be 87 I think she said.

What age is your Aunt Maxine? I don’t have any more living aunts but Craig still has his Aunt Lovenia who is 84.
I think she said she will be 87…. my mom was the oldest born in 1920 then was Audrey and Geanette. Beverly was 16 years later in 1936 and Maxine 18 years later.
My dad’s sister and brother are gone now

Temp 56F today and we could hit 60F tomorrow with no rain expected for a few days. Will not be long before they will be asking people to go careful with their waster use.lol. The ground is really sodden now so at least it will give time for it to dry up a bit. March is normally a wet month for us hope that does not turn out to be the case this year. I tried to persuade her to get in touch with the surgery but to no avail but she has not had another turn since.
Got her to drink coconut water as it contains Sodium as well, should help her to not get another turn.😘
