Good late morning…a bit more sunshine today and it gives me more pep and motivation. It’s Bane’s birthday today, 4 years old…maybe we’ll go to the farm store with the dogs and get a toy for him..and maybe a pup cup? Depends on what time DH gets home, it’s darker and colder now, then…don’t like that. Just found out that DS’s race is in Capetown (Ultra Trail Capetown) on Friday, starts 8 central time. I haven’t checked to see if there if tracking yet…time to start my day, hope you all have a nice one.

Yes, this is Myrtle Beach and I have walked these beaches. They are very soft white sand and beautiful to walk on.
I have walked those beaches too but not in over 10 years.

53 going up to 77 and sunny.
I slept like a log last night, 10 hours straight!
I did laundry and tidying and crocheting. Sat outside lots of the afternoon it was lovely warm out.
I made homemade French fries ( delish ) and tenderloin sirloin steak which was very tender cooked in the air fryer.
I have never seen an albino porcupine before. This picture posted on Maine Photography.

My mom made FF’s when I lived at home in the deep fryer.
Did you make the fries in the air fryer?
I thought that was a caterpillar at first before I enlarged the photo.
I cut up russet potatoes and put them in a bowl of water for awhile to get the starch out then dry them and put them on a sheet pan with olive oil and salt and bake them at 450. I like them that way best. Not so much fat as frying them, though I love fried ones too.😘

Rick makes roasted potatoes like that quite often.

Yesterday was cold and windy but no rain like they predicted. We have a chance for rain every day so we’ll see.
I cleaned and did laundry yesterday…..not much news.
Jolene’s cousin David made and brought granola for his breakfast. He ate it with yogurt and cut up apples. I got the recipe yesterday and cannot wait to make it.
Hi Ardy, so healthy I used to eat that for breakfast but now its just a yogurt and a banana, my teeth wouldn’t stand up to granola, lol !

What a day to go shopping on the Pretzel day.
A driving NNW wind gusting to 35mph along with driving sleety rain.
So glad to get this shopping day over and get back into the warm.
A high of 40F today with a frosty night to come.
Pretzel to eat now with the hot cup of coffee to warm me up.

Lidl does not do an online shop and I do not fancy another super market.😘
I’ve never shopped at Lidl mostly Sainsburys but this time I went to Tesco’s which is not so close to me but they still deliver and they stock a lot of things that the others don’t. I have a picture in my head of inside a Supermarket but its from so long ago that its probably changed now, its so long that I have been inside any shop and when I say that I feel a deep sadness that I have missed so much even a stupid shop, lol !😉 !
