Good morning,
I was busy all day yesterday, showered and off to grocery shopping which took awhile. Home in time for lunch then because it was so sunny and warm outside I sat out on the porch working on crochet gifts. I want to finish a couple place mats today that I had started.
I took a couple long walks, it is just so nice out this week. Looks like rain might be moving in soon though.

That is good. My sister wants to stop with gifts after this year so my list will only be Rick and his step sister next year.

It is but it is a problem with what to buy…..I am much easier to buy for than me buying for her.
We’ll see if she stops coming over on Christmas Eve for dinner now.
With you being her only living immediate family it is sad she is doing this.
That is how she is, sadly. Seems she doesnt really care…..we always had them over on Thanksgiving after mom wasnt able to do it and a few years ago she said they were staying home and having cornish hens because they didnt like turkey. I know that came from her and not her DH, he loved Ricks cooking. She had us over that year but never again.
Just seems weird since holidays are once a year and now Christmas Eve
You would think she might like to be with family…..I guess not.

Good Morning
It rained off and on most of yesterday. We got close to an inch of rain which the desert can always use.
It is 45° this morning. I doubt I will walk this morning, too cold for me!
Sorry it is too cold for you to walk Ardy. I hope you will still be able to walk sometimes.

Oh I will still walk but probably not as much. I stop in the winter because I like to walk between 5-5:30 am and its too dark now

Another very cold night -2C last night.
This morning everything outside is glistening white with frost but by late morning that will have melted away.
The old dear coughed a bit on start up but we made it for the paper.
She does live in the garage which keeps the frost off her.lol.
Oh I can’t wait to get the coffee going no need that to warm up.
A couple of bread sticks to go with it.😀😘

With a lighter wind today it feels quite pleasant outdoors.
As it is a diesel i do let it warm up a bit with this frosty weather.

It’s so dark in the house, had to turn on a couple lamps; no sunshine for us today, supposed to rain all day. 🌧🌧 Beryl, you poor thing; all that stressing over the haircut and now you have to do it again. So we ventured out into the dark and cold last night, had to for Bane’s birthday, lol…got a stuffed toy at the farm store and treats..then to Arby’s…the dogs got their pup cups and I got a chicken sandwich and apple pie shake, yum..a little splurge but it was a party, lol…going to walk with a neighbor and her little dog in a bit. oh and I’m pickled gravy 😂
Yes Lynn, there are just some things we have no choice but to do when it comes to the pets.😍 Sounds like a lot of fun getting food treats for yourselves and for the doggies.
