Good morning…there’s snow on the ground…had blizzard conditions during the night…was worried my DB would try and make it home for the airport but he waited and got an Uber in the morning…home now sleeping..hope he can still pick up his dog later today before the boarding place closes. He said it’s worse here than in the Chicago area. DH took the long way home from his dad’s this morning because of the hill…I just swept snow off furniture and floor into a pile on my screen porch..have to fill a bucket or two later, walk through the living room… Read more »
watched the Oscars…several pretty dresses, loved the tributes by Billy Crystal for the Reiners and Barbra Streisand’s tribute for Robert Redford 😭 beautiful but so sad. also I like to see if there are any movies I might want to watch…my sister said they all look pretty intense!

We just had the first round of thunder and lightning, I had to go out on in the sunroom as Danny was so scared he was sitting on me in the chair, all 85 + pounds! It has stopped now but it’s going to be a wild day, especially with his fear of storms.

LOL I have a picture in my mind of Danny and you but I know its not funny animals get so scared but he has you !
He runs to me or Denny when is afraid of the thunder. We just sit with him and pat him and he settles a bit.
our last girl dog (my avatar) was so scared of storms and fireworks..had to put a Thundershirt on her and it did help…also gave her a safe place to snuggle up, away from windows…now Scout is also and she found her little safe spot so I always put a throw on the floor there for her
Oh gosh my shopping just came and I didn’t know, I felt such a fool in my dressing gown and hair all over the place but lovely to have goodies, no cake ate too much when Mark was here never seen so much cake, lol ! 😮

lol…don’t feel funny about it Beryl…I often go out in my pjs, not a robe either, lol…to do things like put out the garbage or recycling, get mail and chat with the mail lady, even talk with a neighbor 😀 people are very casual on my block
Good Morning! Cloudy and 67 around 7:00 AM. Today’s high of 68 is expected around 9:00 AM with temps falling to near 55 by sunset. Strong thunderstorms with damaging winds are possible. Right now we’re under a Severe Thunderstorm Watch until 11:00 AM.
Craig’s School is on Spring Break this week so I’m thankful that he’s home.
I’m still not fully recovered. Productive cough and nasal congestion but no fever. Thankfully my Covid test was negative.
I love these volunteer wildflowers that showed up the other day in our garden. They are Common Blue Violets 💙

Those flowers are beautiful. I noticed the wildflowers as i drove to church yesterday. Some were growing in the sidewalk cracks, I wished i could of taken pictures.
We will have little blue flowers in our flower bed that pop up yearly that i love so.
