Good late morning…I’ve been staying in this week since it’s been cold, had some snow and ice also..the sun is shining and melting the snow now, but still cold. Last night we had tacos, not exactly Irish, lol..but I had homemade potato soup for lunch so that counts, I think..wore green (today too) and shamrock earrings. Think I’ll do a bit of cleaning and try to call my aunt today, she’s hard to get ahold of. Have a good day!
Good Morning! Sunny and 33 going up to 51.
I learned that there’s a “cold” virus going around that lasts about 3 weeks. It’s been 1.5 weeks for me so far. Still lots of coughing and some nasal congestion but no fever.
Hummingbirds are now reported as being seen migrating through North Carolina. Last night I got my feeders ready and made a batch of nectar. This morning I plan to fill my feeders and hang them outside.

sounds so good…I only make them during farmer’s market so I can use good tomatoes..last year there weren’t any until later in the summer.
Good morning, Cleaned the house yesterday and did some laundry, i sure find a lot of laundry to do. Rick went running all over to find a filter for the swamp cooler and pads….the pads were $115. I was wrong, it was the AC he saw a problem with….some condensation and some black gooey stuff he said. I never felt quite right about the work they did when they installed , new furnace, AC unit and swamp cooler in one day when they said it would take a day and a half..and they have had to come back a few… Read more »

I don’t blame those people for moving with the drug house across the street. We moved from Bristol and the place in FL we had in the winter, due to drug houses and meth houses near us. Very scary times.

So far they have taken care of the things caused by doing the job too fast. It might be three/four years now…so we’ll see.
Good morning, 34 degrees it is so cold! Yesterday was cold after the storm came through the day before.🥶 We are having a community yard sale in April and yesterday I went through lots of material I don’t think I will use and other sewing stuff and put it in bundles to sell and I have extra sewing machine attachments and other stuff that I don’t use that I will put out. I did think it would be warmer here. The shifts in weather are kind of odd, we had cold then it warmed up to very warm/humid then back to this deep cold. I thought I was through with the big winter coat but I would need it this morning outside!
I don’t have any animal print material. I had birds that I made into a tablecloth and the red cardinals I made into a Christmas table runner. I am thinking now I do have a length of African zebras and lions print.
I have asked Jamie to make me a purse that i would like to send to my cousins wife in CA. She loves animal print as much as I do but all she has is denim jeans in a camo animal print and I dont think she would like it, I know i dont for a purse.
She made this one for me.

There will be a frost tonight in Rural areas which will affect us, but still plenty of sunshine for the next few days.
