UPDATE from my doctor appointment:
Looks like I have the extended cold virus that’s going around. No fever, no flu, no covid, lungs sound fine so no pneumonia. Pain on the left side of my chest at the bra band is just a sore muscle from all of the coughing. So basically I’m fine for the condition I’m in, lol. I’m to keep following my care regimen for treating symptoms but if I’m not better a week from now I’m to message the doctor.

Good morning We hit 96° yesterday. After my morning walk I gave myself my version of a manicure. Rick started in on the swamp cooler but had to stop and go back to where he bought the parts to find out how to put them together right. Then he still ran into more problems while up on the roof, swamp coolers seem to be like that every year when they have to be cleaned, new parts bought, etc. So he was up/down from the roof. Good morning, 36 degrees outside and Danny wanted to stop and smell every bit of grass all around the house. A high of 61F with a brisk NE wind which is taking the edge off the temp outside.
Must not complain though because the sun is most welcome for a change.

Internet crashed about 5.30p, stayed broken until almost 7p. Naturally in the middle of that, I called to schedule a fix-appt for tomo; so now that has to be cancelled before leaving for Pueblo 🙄 Chuck & I are meeting sis/Kitty for lunch before doing a grocery pick-up.

How was your lunch with sis Kitty?
Thursday morning I have a ‘Sick Visit’ appointment at our clinic. Symptoms started gradually on Sunday March 8 and the coughing started Saturday March 14. The symptoms are still nasal congestion and coughing but still no fever (as of 9:40 PM Wed evening). The coughing got quite intense a few times during the day on Wednesday.
That’s a long time to not be getting better Kathy; glad you’re going to the clinic 🙏
So sorry Kathy, I hope you can get something to help with your cough. 🙏
I hope you found some relief, my cough always hangs on for awhile.
