Friday evening update… I had a rough start to my day 🥴 The pain in my left rib chest muscle was so bad that it was too painful to try and take a deep breath or cough for that matter. I managed to eat my usual oatmeal breakfast and after I finished I wondered if Advil might help reduce the pain from the muscle. I am sorry you have coughed so hard you hurt your chest muscles. Sounds very painful. Do you know how you caught this sickness. I remember you said Craig was feeling poorly a few days before you became sick but it sounds like he did not have what you have. I hope your getting close to end of this miserable cold. 🙏

I think I caught mine while out grocery shopping. I also hope that I’m over this soon. Craig’s was different than mine and thankfully he’s fully recovered now.
Good morning…yesterday was nice and today even warmer, high of 72. Yesterday my sister and I honored our grandma, we do this every year…by drinking tea, listening to the birds, and looking at magazines that she would have liked. Last night Dh and I went out to eat, I just got soup. Today I don’t really have a plan but want to try calling a friend who is very difficult to get ahold of and walking the dogs. Happy Spring! 🌺
Good morning, Happy 1st day of Spring!🌼 38 going up to 70 with sun today. I think this is the last morning of really cold temperatures. Yesterday warmed up in the afternoon. Sis Deena has done great with the chemo! 6 hour treatments Tuesday and Wednesday. She has her appetite back and she said that the area in her hip/pelvic area stopped hurting. It was where a lymph node was quite swollen. She said the doctor told her as soon as the chemo gets into the body it starts killing the cancer. I am so so happy she did this… Read more »
Hi Jenn, so glad your sister is doing so well on chemo and already feels relief from pain ! I hope as it goes on the side effects are not too bad or maybe she will have none as it effects in different way, not that I know anything but a few in my meeting are going through treatment ! It must be a relief for you to know that she is feeling positive !👌

It is a huge relief that Deena is doing so well. She will probably lose her hair but that can grow back. Time will tell but so far so good and it makes me so relieved. 🙂

I am glad her fist chemos have gone so well and I pray it continues that way, I am happy that she is feeling better about it and has an appetite again.
We are all so relieved and happy with how well she tolerated the chemo and her getting her appetite back. She had lost her appetite and her stomach was all messed up but I believe much of that was her fear of the chemo. Now she is relaxed.

Happy Spring!!🌸🪷🌺🌼🌻 Well, Tucson hit 100° on the last day of winter. I polished my toenails a pretty blue for spring! Rick grilled half a chicken on the grill for supper. We have this pigeon (not our favorite bird) that can’t fly so it is hanging around our yard 24/7. The cats and Nikki could care less about it. The thing I dont like is that she poops all over our patio. Not sure what to do about it….. The AZ Wildcats play their first March Madness game at 10:35 this morning. I would rather he not roost and poo on this because we use this to prop the shed door open.
Oh poor pigeon not able to fly. Do you have any rescue places in your area? How long has it been with you?
I hope your team wins but like you say, sometimes the underdog comes out on top so that makes it a little tense watching. 😊

It has just been a few days…..Rick isnt going to take it somewhere…..I really do not like pigeons but i feel sorry for it.
I dislike pigeons they are always around my feeders or trying to knock them so seed drops out, yuk !

Hi Ardy, isn’t there a wild bird rescue anywhere? I have a great lady who comes out and takes most birds and rescues them. I need her when the baby seagulls fall out the nest ! How does it eat if it can’t fly so do you put food out ?
We feed the birds so there is seed on the ground that the pigeons eat. And it knows where the water is.
I guess i should google and see if there is a rescue where someone will come out.
we have a rescue only about 20 minutes away…if she’s not too busy she will come and pick the animal or bird up. we enjoyed going to her place though and seeing all the animals and birds she is caring for. I enjoy touring wildlife rescues.
