Good Monday morning. Beryl, Jenn, Ardyth, Kathy, Lynn, Pam/ A cool night and a cloudy day today with very light wind so the clouds will be with us all day,🙄. Everything along the bypass is now greening up and the rooks are already building their nests in the trees that line the bypass. These Rooks are now attacking my small bird feeders they have learned to unhook them from the hangers. So I now have to frighten them off at every opportunity, darn things.lol. Hi ice, its been great having some sunshine and open windows I wish it would stay as I hate being shut in the house! Now Mittens has gone it means I can leave the door open without the worry of a cat walking in ! Everywhere the earth is sprouting and I am so surprised that my Geraniums have made it through the Winter ! Thanks for this video Ice, where is this located. I am anxious to see Osprey nesting again but sadly I cannot watch when they lay eggs at Hog Island anymore.
It isn’t nice when certain birds take over feeders from other birds. I have always loved Bluebirds but they used to be aggressive at
feeders I had. I still loved watching them, they are beautiful.

Osprey have been seen in the area in the last few days so the usual pair should be due any day now.
Nothing beautiful about a Rook ugly bird in my estimation.😀😘

It was very warm yesterday, it was 85 degrees at the hottest time of day, which is 4-5pm.
I had a lemon I wanted to use and I ended up making a lemon cake. It had the juice of the lemon in the cake and in the glaze.
Very yummy! 😘
I just did not feel like cooking last night so we went up to Chick-fil-A and had a chicken sandwich.

A lovely sunny start to the day but there was an overnight frost.
The bird bath is frozen over so it was a very low temp last night.
The Daffodils are just about finished after that frost been a lovely show this year though.
Paper in hand but just a short journey this morning because I am expecting my brother to call this morning.

This is an amazing story about the eagle. The wildfire left the forest looking dead. Then a drone found an eagle nesting in the ashes. Nice story but i did some researching and most think this is AI and I do too. VERY rare for eggs, but possible, all that money and Eagles dont build big heavy nests in the side of a tree.

Oh no, that makes me so mad. It seems more and more garbage like that come on FB. I usually am careful who has posted the story ( my sis Deena had shared it ). How can you tell sometimes?
I usually read the comments from people, there is always someone that knows….seemed most people believed this…I did at first but then i started to wonder so i researched it…if you look at the nest on the side of the tree on one branch and all that money……doesnt seem right.
