Good Saturday Morning. Beryl, Jenn, Ardyth, Kathy, Lynn, Pam. A lovely sunny morning hut that pesky NW wind is blowing hard today a high of just 46F today. Warming up a little next week and a mainly dry week as well. Police cars at the bottom of our street blue lights flashing and an ambulance across the road from them with even more police cars. It is almost all day here you hear sirens with ambulances and firetrucks screeching down the roads around us.

Jenn, to answer your question re: Cody/Laura moving to SC. Actually they’ll be following Noah/Jamie and the kids; they’re not letting the grandkids out of sight for too long. Noah has been hired by Boeing; coupled with his engineering experience & heavy-duty security clearance from the Navy, Boeing came knockin’. I think Noah’s due to start work in May; they bought a house just north of Charleston. Boeing’s sending packers/movers to do the work; all Noah/family has to do is get on a plane. Hi Kathy ♥ It sure is; Kitty’s not doing too well with all this 😔 She sees her great grandsons frequently and will miss seeing them grow up. I reminded her of Facetime, but i know it’s not the same.

She lives in the basement apartment of Chelsea’s house in Colo Spgs, about 2 hours from me, but only about 20 mins from Noah & the great-grands.
Wow Pam, a lot of changes for their family! What an honor for Noah to be working for Boeing! He sure has earned the job with his hard work. The climate will definitely be different from Colorado.😀
It sure is 😄 Noah/Jamie were both stationed at Goose Creek; it’s where they met; she in the Air Force/him in Navy. They’re going to really miss Mexican food; believe me, southerners do not have a clue on how to make it. 🙄

Good Morning! Sunny and 61 (at 8:25 AM) going up to a record high of 88. Winds SW 10 to 20 mph with higher gusts possible. Tomorrow will be much cooler starting out in the 40s and only going up to 62.
Despite the breezy conditions, I plan to go to BJ’s Wholesale Warehouse after I post this comment to pickup my scheduled order of non-perishables. After those items are loaded into my car I will go inside to shop for the frozen items on my list.

A wet and cloudy day today with rain on and off for the day.
No frost last night and a high of 54F today.
Kids will be breaking up for Easter today so the traffic will be a lot thinner from today thank goodness.
There will be no sunshine today.😏.

Always nice to have uncrowded roads around town.
They are certainly a bit softer after blowing in the wind, I think that is the answer.
Just read in the local rag that they will be building around another 245 houses along side the bypass.
We are becoming just a large building site now. No extra facilities as usual.🙄😘
It really is crazy isn’t it, adding more and more homes to already over crowded areas !
Same here building all around us, the woods being torn down daily. Now the big Amazon distribution site near us.
The traffic here is already insane, scares me to drive in it.

Always a pleasure driving on uncrowded roads around the area.
But with all these new estates being built all the traffic has to come through the centre of town to reach the bypass.
We now deed another bypass around the old bypass which is nuts.lol.😘

Went into La Junta to get the car title changed over from the bank to me; i’ll get it in a couple weeks. Then treated myself to a lovely b-fast at Village Inn. The one we have out here is very, very good; I always have a good experience there. The management/staff are the best. I had their Eggs Benedict Florentine; instead of Canadian bacon, poached eggs comes with spinach, tomatoes, Swiss cheese on a toasted English muffin; it was excellent. And i just couldn’t help myself, they had fresh strawberry crepes as a meal, but they let me order… Read more »
