Good Morning! Sunny and 57 going up to 80. No sign of any rain so the pollen is horrible. The heavy pollen could be a factor in my coughing still hanging around. Although, my doctor indicated that the coughing can last about 6 weeks with this particular virus (my cough started on Saturday March 14 so it’s been less than 2 weeks). The pollen is keeping my eyes irritated as well despite the frequent use of OTC preservative-free eye drops. I need to put fresh sheets on the bed today. I always keep a fresh spare set in the linen… Read more »

Hi Kathy,
I would not be surprised if the pollen isn’t making your cough a bit worse. Has Craig had any cold symptoms like you have?
I hope the shrubs Craig transplanted will do well in their new spot. 🌺

Craig’s symptoms were different/milder than mine. I’m happy he did not have the lingering cough like mine.
Thanks regarding the shrubs 💟

Good morning
I didnt do much yesterday since i was tired for some reason. I think I do too much and it caught up with me.I did walk in the morning.
Rick made shrimp and pasta and a spinach salad, the spinach was from the garden.
My sister, Muriel, is coming over this morning for a haircut.
Rick called that doorstep place and the guy said they called and their number comes up as SPAM….we never answer those and he said he doesnt either…..they are coming out Monday to look at the step

Hi Ardy
I’m guilty of doing too much and then paying for it.
Great news that the doorstep folks are scheduled to come on Monday.

Good morning, Oh goodness, the pollen is bad, so hard to be outside for long. When the weather station posts jokes about shoveling pollen they are not far from wrong! I took down all the ‘fancy’ dishes I had on the stand in the dining room and washed them, just dusty from sitting out. I did laundry and cleaning/dusting getting to things I do not clean often. Denny ordered a roof container ( cargo box ) and put it on the roof of the van yesterday. It will hold a lot of clothing, etc. going up to camp. Nothing is… Read more »

Great idea about Denny adding the ratchet strap to the new rooftop cargo holder to secure it for traveling.

Good morning.
Beryl, Jenn, Ardyth, Kathy, Lynn, Pam.
A cold night once again and a thin skimming of ice on the bird bath this morning.
Hut we care in for quite a sunny day today so at least Glenda can hang out the laundry wash today.
We still have that cold wind which is bringing then temp down.
Still no let up in the low temps for another week or so.🙄.
Off at 9-00am to pick up our lifesaving pillsat the surgery.
The pair of us rattle with tablets.lol.
Will catch you all later.😀😘

Good morning Ice,
With the sun and the wind today your laundry that Glenda is hanging outside will smell so good. 😊
Hope your trip to the pharmacy was easy with not too busy traffic.

Hi Jenn.
Glenda’s laundry for once is drying very well in the sunshine, maybe a towel will not feel like sand paper now.lol.
Very light traffic for our trip today and the surgery car park had plenty of room this morning.
But by this afternoon you would have a job to find a car parking space there.😘

I know what you mean about the towels…I now add a splash of vinegar to the towels in the washer and they are a bit softer.

I had to laugh about the towels Ice, when you don’t have a good breeze they can be scratchy.
That is good you had light traffic for the time you went out today and also plenty of parking room!

Hi Ice
Oh wow that it was cold enough overnight for a thin layer of ice to form on the birdbath. We still could get frost between now and April 15 (our average last frost date here).
