Good morning, I actually cooked and it was good, roast chicken, roast potatoes with bread sauce. Something about being alone that makes cooking a no no. I think its all the washing up that does it for me ! A good day but its going to change and my leaf thingy is still in pieces, my bad ! Hi Jenn, I have a lady who phones weekly and I do enjoy that as she is interesting, other stuff was on the cards but slow in happening. I haven’t been in contact with Mark as he has been away and I feel he has had a lot to sort out for me so I give him his space. A cool day with sunny periods and April showers a high of 50F.
Clearing skies tonight means we will probably get a frost by morning.
Hope it is a slight one as the Wisteria is showing signs of this years flowers and they do not like the frost.
Trip out today was in an April shower but sun is out right now.

Sorry I couldn’t post anything yesterday or first thing this morning. Yesterday we had a scare but all is better. Craig had to go to ER because of some rectal bleeding that developed following a bowel movement. Thankfully the proctologist determined he didn’t need to go to OR for surgery. Instead, a rectal suppository (Hydrocortisone Acetate) was prescribed that Craig needs to use twice daily (every 12 hours). Hopefully this will heal the areas where the bleeding occurred. Good morning @Kathy S My vacuum came late yesterday. I need to open it today. I made pea salad yesterday for supper and we both enjoyed it. I should make it more often. I have been hearing the LOUD Booms from the Pascua Yaqui Tribe like I do every year the night before Easter. They have their tribal celebration after midnight until 4am It’s just a single cannon going off periodically. I rather enjoy the tradition. Hi Ardy, I have never made pea salad but I think Denny would like it, peas are his favorite veggie. We had them last night and I made Au gratin potatoes in the crock pot and they were so delicious. Another nice day, 62 going up to 80 degrees.
I took down curtains and did a few loads of wash, getting them clean and packed.
Going through clothing I did have more tops and a long skirt to give away.
Sat outside for awhile and will today. Tomorrow we are getting rain but it looks like later in the day so hopefully outside plans for
family Easter dinners will not be interrupted.

We decided to sell it furnished, just like we bought it. I am keeping a small desk.
Not planning too far ahead. Just getting into the cabin for now.
That will make moving a lot easier and not having to store furniture.
