I fell asleep on the couch and having weird dreams and just woke up from a deep sleep…I was at my Grandmas in MN and all my cousins were there and i couldnt find my camera….lol
Good morning, Yesterday was pretty chilly outside but by later afternoon there were peeks of sunshine and it was a nice for a long walk. We went past our Maine neighbors and they came down off the porch to talk. They are leaving this weekend for Maine and today they are having 20 people over to their house! They have made many friends down here during the times they stayed at the Condo on N. Myrtle Beach for several winters. There is little parking here we said let someone share our driveway. We exchanged phone numbers they want to come… Read more »
Have you told Joe you are moving? Are they still planning on moving?
Oh yes, we told Joe. We just stopped and chatted with him and Lynn, they were outside in their house along the path to the lake.
They do plan on moving, they are looking for land at least 5 acres.
Good morning
Yesterday was on the warm side but cloudy all day. We had ham leftovers. Today he is making beans and coconut rice.
I did a little of this and a little of that yesterday….lol
Cleaning and haircut today.
Wow, a real coconut! I haven’t bought one in years I honestly do not notice them in stores. I remember my sis Jackie and I getting one and cracking it open and chipping off the coconut many years ago when we were young.
How does Rick get the coconut off the shell?
I got a haircut last week at the little salon near me here last week. I think she did a good job, just a light trim.
I think these were taken in 2024
he used a drill
That was a good idea to use the drill. 😀
I always dread my haircuts, it’s been 6 weeks
😟
Good morning,
Beryl, Jenn, Ardyth, Kathy, Lynn,
Would you believe it sunshine all the way today up to 65F. with a light breeze.
A good show of Tulips in the garden right now, they managed to stay upright in the high wind we had yesterday.
A lovely day for our shop today just hope my legs get me around ok.
Will use my back machine which helps a bit.
Off to use this device now before I make a cup of coffee,
Catch you all later. 😀 😘
Morning Ice
The tulips are lucky.
Hope your legs did ok shopping.
Hi Ardy.
I just managed to limp back to the car with the groceries.lol. 😀 😘
💗
Good morning Ice,
I love tulips and yours must look so pretty right now all in bloom. 🌷
I see you were able to ‘limp back to the car’ after shopping. Wish there was something that would help you with the leg pain. Good that you have the belt device to give you some relief.
Hi Jenn.
They look a treat this year very long stems on them this year.
The heated belt does help for a while but the nerve pain comes back. 😀 😘
Good Morning! Partly cloudy and 55 going up to 68. Yesterday it rained but we only got around 0.25″ in our rain gauge. We need more than that since we’re in drought conditions but we’re thankful for any we can get. No significant rain is expected in the near future. Craig seems to be doing much better since he’s been using the suppository twice a day with no additional bleeding episodes so far 🙏🏻This morning he took my car (Baby Blue) for it’s required annual inspection and it passed. Now I get to submit the payment for the annual vehicle… Read more »
Hi Kathy…we’ve had too much rain here…and some flooding..
Hmmm… perhaps you can send some my way. So sorry about the flooding in your area. I hope it hasn’t affected your house.
I’d like to…we did need some but not so much all at once..no we are up on a bluff and not near any rivers.
Good 🙏🏻
Hi Kathy
Glad to hear Craig is doing better.
That picture is darling. I am glad you posted it….I feel like I am the only person that uses bath rugs in front of the sink, shower and the toilet……maybe it’s old fashioned now but, they still sell them.
Our bathroom
Nice ☺️ I love that shade of 🩵
I have always used them in those places. I don’t like bare feet touching the floor.
I have always used them too. It just seems that so many people don’t use them. But like I said they still sell them. Thank goodness
I have one in front of the bathtub. well, on the side I should say
Hi Kathy.
Pleased that Craig is doing well.
Baby Blue good for another year at least.lol. 😘
Very good news that Craig is doing better. 🙏
Kitties look so cute in the picture.
Good morning, We had a wild storm starting late yesterday into the night. Danny was so scared of the thunder and I jumped a few times when it clapped seemingly right over the house. I put my tunic blouse over his back and wrapped the arms under his chest. He really seemed calmer after that and he did hover near me and Denny but he wasn’t as panting and trying to climb on us like he usually does. I have read about thunder shirts they sell on Amazon. I changed our dinner menu yesterday, I cut up chicken breasts in… Read more »
Danny looks a little blurry in the picture. My great photography skills…lol
Hi Jenn.
Looks like you might have the answer to Danny’s scare of thunder storms.
I take it that Maine does not get as many thunder storms as you seem to get where you are. 😘
Your right Ice, we hardly ever have one in Maine. We moved here in June of ’24 and that summer was thunder storms almost daily. We only had a couple last summer in Maine. Must be atmospheric differences and the humidity here might play into it. I of course am not a meteorologist but just my thoughts. 😀
I am glad your shirt helped calm him down♥
Did you like your meal? Wish you had taken a picture.
Hi Jenn
It will be so much better for all of you once y’all are back in Maine. Few if any thunderstorms for you guys once you’re back to your preferred home state 💜
What did you guys think of the chicken meal?
looks like that helped him…Thundershirts do help, we have one
Good morning! Muriel and I went to sunrise service at 6:00am. It is held outside every year and the Youth put on the service. It was lovely and the weather was the best with the sunrise in the background. I made broccoli slaw for our Easter dinner. Rick used coke and brown sugar on the ham from a recipe I saw on FB and it turned out delicious.
It was very windy yesterday but not during the sunrise service which was good.
It is 74° as i type this at 4:30 am.
Nice pictures Ardy, Love the sun rising over the trees. Your outfit is pretty in pink 💗
Your dinner looks so good and you will have leftovers.
Thanks Jenn!
Rick will make bean soup and hopefully beans and coconut rice that I like.
Hi Ardy
