Hope everyone had a good donut day on Friday 🍩
Got to 97 today; supposed to be 102 by Sunday. Oh yay, not; as if those 5 degrees are going to make a difference 🙄
Slept terrible last night, think i was just over-tired from yesterday; took a little nap earlier today, hope it helps for tonight. 😴
Today’s Mom/Dad’s 78th heavenly wedding anniversary. 💍
Congratulations to Jenn on how much got done at the cabin!
😀😘
I had a message from the Derm office this morning. The under arm biopsy that was a skin tag (I dont know why she biopsied it) was benign. And the boob mole came back as an slightly irregular mole, the biopsy took the entire mole and the margins are clear. So, all is good.
Good news Ardy, good thing she removed the mole. Always a relief to hear things are okay.
I wasnt worried but glad to hear the good news.
Thought of Kathy when I saw this picture !
Beautiful 💙 I love it 😍 Thanks Beryl 💝
💖
Great picture
This is lovely — it reminds me of Kathy too 🐱
Good Morning! Sunny and 64 going up to 88. We’ll be under an Air Quality Alert from 10 AM until 8 PM. For several days I have been dealing with another painful inflammatory reaction to mosquito bites (this time behind my left knee). I learned that my body’s painful reaction is called ‘Skeeter Syndrome’. My derm Sonia deals with this too. I learned from Sonia that if I take a Claritin (Loratadine) soon enough after I get mosquito bites it should prevent (or at least greatly reduce) the inflammatory reaction. Here is a link if you want to read about… Read more »
Nasty looking bite Kathy.🙄
Nasty feeling too!!! 😩
That looks painful Kathy!!!!
It is painful!!! 😖
Oh that makes it worse :(
Oh no Kathy, that looks painful and itchy!! Good advice on taking a Claritin quickly after a bite.
Yes, it’s both painful and itchy 😞
Geez Kathy, this looks awful; if it’s not one thing, it’s another {{HUGS}}
Good morning, Yesterday was rough for me w/o sleep. I did catch a good unplanned nap in the afternoon. I felt groggy all day. It got up to 101°…it is June and this is to be expected from here on out. Rick Grilled salmon for supper. I was in bed for a few minutes drifted off to Raymond and the power went out. It lasted an hour and a half but i managed to sleep. I saw later TEP sent three emails but how do they expect you to get them w/o internet? I have gotten two emails from my… Read more »
That is good you were able to nap awhile yesterday. 😴🥱
That is very unprofessional with the Derm office not returning calls and having trouble with the portal. Maybe call every hour they will get tired of the messages and call you back maybe!
It seems it harder and harder to get business people to answer phones OR call you back after leaving a message.
I was calling KIA to make an appt. no return call so i called my salesman and he gave me a number for a woman whom he said would take care of me…called two days and left messages and she did not return my calls…..I finally got someone to call me back.
😩
I’ve had a couple of days dealing with being groggy. Two nights ago my inflammatory reaction to the mosquito bite behind my left knee was so painful I couldn’t get to sleep 😫
I’m so sorry about the extreme lack of customer service from the derm office as well as the KIA dealership 😡
Hi Kathy.
Hope you feel better soon.😘
Thank you ❤️
How do they expect you to make appts???
Exactly!!
Good morning, Another beautiful sunny day, the same as yesterday. 😉 The workers were here by 8am yesterday and worked until 4pm. They got the floor insulated and boarded and put up the structure for the walls. I think this is going to be finished fairly quickly, I really had no idea how long it would be. I did a pile of ironing I had not ironed since getting here and was down to very little to wear! 🙄 I had a long call with sis Barb, she has been not feeling well for over 2 weeks, she is having… Read more »
Hi Jenn
I iron too altho it isnt my favorite thing to do.
That doesnt sound good about Barb. I am sure she will be fine but not fun in the meantime.
Not a favorite for me either Ardy but I am happy when it’s done. 😀
I feel so bad for Barb she is in so much discomfort. She did say yesterday when she lays down it eases off so she is able to sleep pretty good.
That is good that she is able to sleep.
Hi Jenn.
Good luck with the hair cut.
Not such good news for sis Barb, hope she soon gets better.
Hi Jenn
I only have a few things that occasionally need to be ironed. I try to mainly buy clothing that doesn’t need to be ironed.
Great news about the progress on the new addition to your cabin 😀
Oh dear about Barb having acid reflux issues 😞 Praying she feels better soon 🙏🏻
I hope you are pleased with your haircut today 💜
I never iron…well, very rarely ..once in awhile one of DH’s collars on his shirts isn’t right but he’s so casual anyway so probably doesn’t matter…so what do you iron? I probably asked that before..as for peppermint, that can cause heartburn, but maybe it doesn’t for her
I iron shirts and cotton pants, I wear a lot of cotton because I prefer it to other materials. I was wondering myself about the peppermint but after you mentioned this I looked up peppermint and found this, I sent that info to my sis. Yes, peppermint can absolutely cause or worsen heartburn. While often thought to soothe an upset stomach, it has the opposite effect on your esophagus. [1, 2, 3, 4] Why Peppermint Triggers Heartburn Peppermint relaxes the Lower Esophageal Sphincter (LES)—the muscle that acts as a valve between your stomach and esophagus. When this muscle relaxes, it… Read more »

Good morning. Beryl, Jenn, Ardyth, Kathy, Lynn, Pam. A very cool night and a cool cool morning just 57F today with heavy showers about. My CH boiler got to half a degree “F” from firing up, what crazy weather right now.If it does not warm up a bit today I think it will fire up this evening,🙄. The Pigeons have given up on the feeders at last. An couple of regulars hanging around, but when the Finches feed they drop the husks which the pigeons gobble up. Cucumbers planted and watered in we will see how they perform this year.… Read more »
Hello Ice
Oh my we are having opposite weather – it was 101° yesterday and at 4am it is 74°
Our pigeons doentry to get on the feeders but never go away…they scavenge around on the ground for fallen seeds.
I wish ours would go away.
I hope your cukes do well.
Hi Ardy.
A 101F unbelievable temp and we could get a mini heat wave at the end of the month they say of 89F to 90F.
I use sunflower hearts and they stay in the feeders they do not fall on the ground.
If all six plants take off we will be flooded with cucs not knowing what to do with them.lol.😘
Good morning Ice,
Burrr….such cold and rainy weather. 😌 To think you were sweltering last week, so crazy!
Good news on the pigeons leaving, your plan worked with the feeders. Will you bring those feeders back sometime?
Hi Jenn.
It is a pleasure to see the backs of those pesky pigeons, more small birds appearing now as well.
I have had to put on a heavier cardigan.
But the latest forecast is towards the end of June we should expect another mini heat wave of 89to 90F for at least three days. I will gradually bring the other feeders back one at a time and see what happens.😘
That sounds like a good plan, bringing back the feeders one at a time.😀
Hi Ice
Our weather is warming up and yours is the opposite.
Good luck with the cucumbers 🥒 this year 😘
Hi Kathy.
It is very chilly today so I hope the cucumbers plants do not suffer.😘
