A completely different journey this morning sailed through without any hold ups.
Must be the timing as we left a little later today.
A sunny day today but wet and windy tomorrow a lot of rain heading our way.
A high of 54F today to fairly mild for the time of year.
Hope you all had a splendid Thanks Giving day yesterday.

I’m sick of this windy heavy rain which soaks everything, the grass has grown and my feet are getting so wet feeding my birds ! 😘

Craig and I enjoyed our very simple meal of an all ready cooked rotisserie chicken from the grocery store deli plus our usual sides of mashed potatoes, Stovetop Stuffing and sweet potato casserole.

Ended up putting the turkey in cold water at 10p Weds night; putting it in the fridge around 5a, and there was still a small block of ice when i started cleaning out the cavity at 8.30a 🙄 Anyway, popped the bird into the oven at 9a; ate around 2p. Chuck did both sweet/mashed potatoes, cole slaw. I stuffed the celery, popped biscuits, in the oven, made gravy after the bird came out.
Simple and tasty I bet ! 😘

Rick was busy in the kitchen yesterday preparing today’s meal for Rick and I. We will have a 13 lb turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes, gravy, green bean casserole, cranberry sauce that I made and potato rolls and pumpkin pie. A lot of food for two but that is the way Rick does it and we dont have Gary or Laura with us anymore to share our meal with.

I bought a fresh chicken yesterday and we are having that with baked potatoes, cranberry sauce, yeast rolls, gravy and squash ( Denny peels and prepares that). And making a pumpkin pie. 🥧

It was sold new in October 24, 2024, so it is a year and a month old.
Our truck was valued almost equally for the trade. A little more which we paid from our savings.
It really looks nice and comfy on the inside.

Good morning. Beryl, Jenn, Ardyth, Kathy, Lynn, Pam. A frost free night but a cloudy start to the day a high of 56F today with showers at times. Hit the traffic this morning sailed through town at this time in the morning yesterday but not today . Took an hour to get through town and home and that is just over 2 miles of travel to get home. That was awful 2 hours to drive 2 miles! I can’t imagine, the town needs to do something I should think!

Nightmare drive this morning time to go back to a horse and carriage.lol.
Like your new vehicle very plush looking seating must be very comfortable.
The town needs a new bigger bypass and it has been on the cards for the last 20 Years would you believe it.
So many hurdles to go through it will never happen any time soon.🙄.
