Happy Thanksgiving…a small one for us this year, what a change…but we’ll enjoy the Cracker Barrel meals..that’s what we had in 2020 at my house, just DH and I…the year of cancellations! even DS’s races…anyway…the weather will still be cold and windy and I always have to walk after my meal…guess it will be shorter this year. My sister is with our mom and will probably come over to watch a Thanksgiving movie, maybe the Waltons or Thirtysomething…we’ll see.

Good morning…it’s awful outside! wind is at 25mph with gusts up to 50! also really grey and cold…and I guess more of the same tomorrow…I always have to walk after the meal so I’ll really have to bundle up. Last night my sister and I watched DWTS and we were happy! Not sure what I’ll do today, I’m hibernating..

Good Morning! Cloudy and 64 going up to 72 with breezy conditions. During Craig’s Thanksgiving break we have been shopping for a potential new (used) car to replace Craig’s 1991 Volvo 240 Wagon. Craig has plans to take the strongest contender to our mechanic this morning for a pre-purchase inspection (PPI). Craig and I already pre-approved for a car loan so if we are pleased with the PPI results then we will most likely be buying another car. What about Goose, we used to drive to Somerset from here to where we lived and pick up 2, one for Christmas and one for New year. I miss those days !

Good morning, Yesterday morning Denny had a dental appointment, we thought to get a filling. He sat almost an hour in the chair before the dentist he was not scheduled with came in and said they were going to pull the tooth it could not be filled. The dentist was one I had last year, Dr. Armstrong. He gave Denny several shots then pulled the tooth. He did not put in any stitches. Wow, they couldnt do anything to save his tooth? I hope they return his call today since Thanksgiving is tomorrow.
Not able to save if have an abscess. He never had pain that you would expect from and abscess.
Not even a root canal or a crown?

Goodness me!! That sounds like poor service from this dentist office. I am so sorry they never submitted the prescription order to the pharmacy. Prayers for Denny’s pulled tooth area to heal well 🙏🏻 How did the dentist determine Denny had an abscess? Did he he do a diagnostic X-ray?
Hi Jenn, so sorry Denny had so much trouble poor guy but they wouldn’t close it up with infection as it needs to come out if you closed it you would be keeping it in. I had surgery on my tooth at home and it was hell but it healed in time, Sending healing thoughts to Denny feel good soon. 😘
