Hello…haven’t heard back from my helper, so trying to decide whether to do some raking myself…today will be the best weather day…or maybe I should clean since DH isn’t working from home today…has to be at his dad’s, no caregiver so I could sweep, vacuum even in the dining room where he works. I’d be more motivated to work outside if the sun was out..the high will be 50.

The PK-12 school where Craig works is closed the entire week of Thanksgiving. I’m glad that Craig has a nice long break from work.
When I was at Kohl’s last week I bought two different sizes of cute fleece lounging pants for Lauren. Now that I know what size she prefers I need to return the wrong size to Kohl’s, hopefully today.
Miss Chai enjoys getting sunnies on the cart perch in our dining room 😊

Sunny and bit cooler, just 44 degrees outside. I guess the summer like days of the past week are leaving now.
This picture of our weather station shows how lovely warm it was 84 degrees in early afternoon.
We had a nice Sunday, cooking are sewing and relaxing.

We had a nice time at our friends last night with the other friends. I ate some sesame noodles there and they were great. I has some a little while ago and they seem to be agreeing with me so I am laying back down.

Good Monday morning. Beryl, Jenn, Ardyth ,Kathy, Lynn, Pam. A cloudy start to then day after heavy rain overnight everything pretty sodden this morning. Many road side puddles again really need the drains unblocked now.🙄. A quiet day yesterday very restful hope you all had the same sort of day. Wind has turned back to a Northerly direction again so some colder weather for a few days with some night frosts. Time to settle now with a brew of coffee and bread sticks.lol. We were 84 degrees yesterday afternoon, now it is 44 this morning. I think this time of year there can be big changes in the temperatures.
Very nice that you had a nice relaxing Sunday, we did too. I made a big Shepard’s Pie so we will have leftovers at least another meal.😘

I love shepherd’s pie also and haven’t made it in awhile…I’m lazy when it comes to cooking just for myself. My Scottish grandma made shepherd’s pie often.
