Another gloomy day with rain; we did get a couple hours of sun yesterday and reached 62 🌞 Made a trip to recycling where one of the volunteers decided to make a new friend — that would be me 😘 I’ve named some of the ferals, the ones distinctive by either looks or personality; the big black tom-cat is Tommy Tune. Good Morning! Sunny and 54 going up to 72. It’s warmer than normal for most of this month. In Charlotte, the average high in November is 62 and the average low is 40.

I didnt do much yesterday…I did make scotcheroos because today we are going back to our friends that are in town for 2 weeks. There will be 12 of us today……The day was actually nice and then Boom, it started to rain and we had thunder that lingered for hours that I loved andRick thought it was weird. It is still raining now, during the night!!!

Some people are made for entertaining. I used to do it more often with friends, especially church friends we entertained often. I had

These parties started in 1988 and they had one every Dec. They were quite large back then, friends and spouses that worked together at the Marriott where Rick worked in the 80’s. She was quite the entertainer. Then they moved to OR maybe in 2002… So when they come back now they always rent a house for two weeks. Jac is almost 80 now, she is the oldest of the group and has many health problems related to arthritis and back trouble….so her meal tonight is going to be much simpler. A fine sunny morning after heavy overnight rain and heavy showers this afternoon.
Lots of standing water on the roadsides this morning with our trip around the local roads.
Roadside drains probably blocked with fallen leaves.
The local council used to clear the leaves from the drains but no more these days.
Makes you wonder what they use our Council Tax for these days.🙄.
We do not get half the services we used to.
Time to brew a coffee see you all tomorrow.😀😘

Good evening…DH had to work on my mom’s furnace…had to go buy a part and now it’s going…we walked the dogs and I walked alone also, was in the 50s and sunny, very nice. DH left to work on his rentals and I’m doing laundry..might watch a show in awhile.
