Good morning………..It’s getting hot outside and inside now. It was 104° yesterday.I walked in the morning and applied my nails.
I was so tired I even napped. This is how I feel now……lol
If you need me, I’ll be sitting in front of a fan until October.
Summer has officially become a full-time job.

Good Saturday morning. Beryl, Jenn, Ardyth, Kathy, Lynn, Pam. A windy but very sunny day today a high of 68F and then into the 70F range for next week. An early start again today the paper in hand at 6-00 am not many people about then.lol. All the Cucumber plants have been eaten by slugs or snails not a sign of the plants. So no home grown cucumbers this year, Glenda has not bothered with tomato plants this year, such a bad year last year it is just not worth the effort. Oh no! Sorry about your cukes! Gardens are a lot of work. Rick goes out to his gardens a few times a day to see what is ready to pick and waters twice a day.

Very disappointing to lose those plants they were protected by a layer of gravel and some sheep’s wool which they say that snails and slugs will not slither over. That did not work out at all well.lol.😘
All that work to protect them and it didnt work, what a shame.

We lost our beloved Danny today. He had a bad night panting heavy and could not lay down. His balance was starting to be off. At the vets he had a seizure which was just his head shaking and Dr. Charles closed his mouth and he said that is a brain tumor. He had a lump in his chest and probably lymphoma So sudden. We are wrecked, so heartbreaking. He is always by our side, will miss him so deeply.
Oh my goodness Jenn!!!! I am shocked to hear this. I know you havent mentioned anything so this must of come on just last night.
I am crying with you and Denny………I am at a loss for words except I am so sorry.
Thank you Ardy. It was sudden and the loss is going to be huge. He had such a demanding personality, in the middle of everything we did. Even when we would hug he would barge in between us wrapping around our legs for attention too. Will be a long time to get over him.💔

While I was putting away my Aldi groceries I went back out to the dining room to check one of the boxes I had used to bring some of my items into the house. I wanted to see if anything was left in it and look what I found 😺💜

The tornado, in case some of you saw it on the news, wasn’t far from here but we’re ok here…my cousin and I were worried about her DB, though, who lives in one of DH”s rentals..I think he is ok but don’t know if she has heard from him yet…phones weren’t working and the roads were all blocked off there..
