Good morning. Beryl, Jenn, Ardyth, Kathy, Lynn,Pam. A real hot one last night up at 5-00 this morning just sweltering in bed even without any cover.😪. Could be the hottest day at 92F but the longer range forecast is predicting a drop back into the low 70F range with rain around then. Can’t come soon enough for me. Saturday and Sunday will hopefully be the last really hot days at 90F forecast. It does say my cool blanket is in transit but no time given yet, probably arrive just as the temp drop.lol. Gosh I am sorry its SO hot for you when sleeping. Our official high was 108 but it was hotter at our house.

Over here we get a date of a delivery when we order it usually. They send an email to follow it in transit and usually get it within a couple days. I know we have different mailing systems so thus the difference. I sure hope this works good for you and Glenda.🤨

The snag is Jenn anything coming from China you do get tracking details but the details are for every stop the parcel makes on its way to you which can takes weeks. I give up in the end and just wait until I get an update when it is in the country.
Even then the parcel goes through different postal unti’s within the country then I get a delivery day eventually.🙄😘

I was reading about Glenda’s experience with paint. I remember Mom asking Dad to paint the ‘play room’. He kept putting it off, as husbands do. Well she accepted it for about 2 weeks, then decided to do something about it herself; as wives do. Dad had a gallon or 2 of gorgeous teal-colored paint in his workshop and that’s the one she used. Turned out to be OUTSIDE paint; those walls were oily/damp for WEEKS afterword & Stink! Whew! The paint was supposed to be for the trim on the outside of the house. Good Morning! Sunny, humid and 76 going up to 95 (heat index near 100) 🥵 Breezy at times this afternoon 10 to 20 mph. Our favorite ice cream is a BOGO special at Harris Teeter grocery store. Today is Senior Discount Day there so I will be going to Harris Teeter after breakfast to see if our favorite flavors of Baskin Robbins ice cream are available. Yesterday was a beautiful day, we had a coolish breeze.
Perfect for painting, I finished the second coat of white paint on the shed doors.
Today is looking really nice again. Need to do laundry this morning then might go down to the lighthouse.

I am trying to think if I did anything yesterday. I did walk and it was hot at 5am even if the sun wasnt out yet.
It was another very hot day,112 on our thermometer. We had some wind but, no rain. They say its coming this weekend.

After the Green was mowed it is now looking very brown not a lot of green colour left now. A high pollen count again today realy feel sorry for people who get hay fever. I gave the fan away to Andrew”s son but I have ordered another one today.
Drinking plenty of water.
The cool blanket is in the country and out for delivery so will not be long now to testy it out.😘
