Good Morning! Cloudy, humid and 74 going up to 87.
Today I need to wash and change the bed sheets among other things.
The hummingbird activity has increased at my feeders. They are in the process of bulking up for their Fall migration.
Our ‘Surprise Lilies’ (Lycoris squamigera, also known as resurrection lilies or magic lilies) are blooming. They have a unique growth cycle. Green strap-like leaves grow in early spring and completely die back by summer, leaving the bulb dormant before tall, leafless flower stalks seemingly “surprise” gardeners by shooting up and blooming in mid-to-late summer.

I still have the 2 babies and the mom, they make several visits a day to the feeder. I caught this picture last night of the two young ones sharing. Sometimes they dive bomb each other, guess they are learning the survival skills they will need to survive.♥

We actually didn’t know the name of these until we watched a gardening YouTube video yesterday. These lilies used to be at my mother’s house (she planted them back in the 1960s). Craig transplanted the bulbs to our flower bed (possibly in 2014) as an experiment because they had quit producing the flower stalks at Mama’s house.
And these lilies are from your Mom; how wonderful is that 💕

I found a number to call when i tried to dispute it
“We’re going to give you a voucher for $12 and charge you $4 to use it.” You don’t want to know the word I’m thinking to describe this rip-off; pretty sure it wouldn’t get past the censor-bot.
YES!!!! And that wasnt enough to get a sandwich! But good news I called my bank to dispute it even though it was a small amount but it’s the principle and I a getting it back!!! WooHoo💃

I decided not to go to church since it is so hot and I am tired and still doing things. I am caught up with laundry, ironed, put everything from my suitcase away.
This morning some cleaning, right now I am tackling the grout on the tile floors which is a job!!!!
I will clean tomorrow. I can write my name in the dust after three weeks of no cleaning.

Grout is terrible to clean, we had grout floors in S. Carolina in the kitchen and bathrooms and it was a job to clean. Good luck.😬
I just sat on the floor for the last 1 1/2 hours with dawn in water and a toothbrush. It looks so much better, it will never be perfect

I will have to try your method of Dawn in water on our grout floors in both bathrooms. Ours look awful. That project will be for another day.
I had some Dawn and i was using our dish soap and Dawn really worked much better!

I was going to say I often used an old toothbrush to get in the grooves, it works pretty well.
Now you know it is very clean and you can enjoy looking at the floor. 😀

Light rain now and heavy rain expected throughout the day. I hope we get it since it is getting dry and the grass browning.
Yesterday was a peaceful day, relaxed reading and finished knitting a hat.
Another quiet day to relax then Tuesday through Thursday we have deliveries at Brunswick so will be going back and forth, a busy week.

Good morning. Beryl, Jenn, Ardyth, Kathy, Lynn, Pam. Tried the full Duvet last night as it appeared to be a cooler night. Did not workout, I was hot and bothered most of the night so it is back to just the cover again. Another hot day today 90F they nsay with high humidity once again. But there is signs of cooler stuff by next weekend. Some parts of the country are getting some rain this week but not enough to have any real effect on the drought conditions. Another hot quiet day 😏 Chuck grilled sockeye salmon, & got fresh lemons and mushrooms and Tiramisu for dessert 😋 Rick doesn’t care for salmon nor lemon; so weird. So we have to make hay while the sun shines!
i think my raving about how good Ardyth’s Walleye looked might have had something to do with Chuck getting salmon — and I thanked her 💗
