Good morning. Beryl, Jenn, Ardyth, Kathy, Lynn, Pam. Would you believe it we have some light rain falling this morning not even damped the ground yet.lol. But it looks like the hot weather will be but a memory with temps back into the low 70F range and some possible decent rain at times. Yes we had rain last night and I was so pleased as my nightly ritual of watering had a rest. I have a lot in pots and many little plants that with the lack of rain meant I was out every evening watering. My grass is not growing and I haven’t had to cut it since the beginning of this heat wave, love that ! 😘

Andrew and his sons get their car serviced at my new servicer’s garage so keeping it in the family.
The big advantage was they picked my car up from home to get it serviced, no body about now who does that.😘
Then you found this place with good recommendation since your son and family like them. 😊
They are very thorough Andrew said so we will see if the old girl meets their requirement.
Not heard anything yet it is 12-30 here took the car in at 9-0.
This afternoon, i was sitting here thinking about how sad I am … when Chuck came into my sitting room and it looks like Rick will be transferred to Pioneer Care Facility here in Rocky on Thurs.🤸♀️ Our next door neighbor works there as the Director. Chuck went over there with the medical power of attorney and he told Chuck they had the best staff in the Valley; PT & even a psychiatrist; which is incredible. Chuck will take mornings & I’ll visit in the afternoons; Pioneer is about 3 miles from our house. Good Palliative care ’til it’s time… Read more »

Dear Pam only just seeing this and I am so sorry to read about Rick, so glad for you to have care for him close and you have time to be together with everything all there for him if needed. Good morning, 68 going up to 78. fog this morning burning off after8-9am. Yesterday was a relaxed quiet day, I watched a YouTube about far East Maine up into Edmonton Canada. Such a loss when Loring Air Force Base in Limestone, which borders Canada, was closed. Denny’s older brother was stationed there after going to Vietnam. Beautiful buildings just abandoned and the townspeople suffered deeply from the once flourishing town. Kind of hard to see that happen. We had American chop suey for supper, which is always yummy. I had my mammogram but I forgot to bring the referral Julie had written for me so I am going back this coming Monday for the bone density test.
The tech that did my Mamm had NO personality at all!!!!! There used to be a tech that was so nice and friendly.
I did some laundry and watched TV as it was a hot day and will be 100+ ALL week with a chance or rain every day.
It got dark over the mountains and we could see rain up there, all we got was wind!!!
I can’t remember when they stopped doing mine but I am glad they did as it always hurt !

Well nothing actually but with the great weather it means I can keep busy in the garden doing bits and pieces, it keeps me busy and now the grass is white and not growing I don’t have to bother cutting it but as we say over here “I just potter” ! Mark came down a couple of weeks ago to help with the heavy jobs and I got an awful rash from the conifers and covered from insect bites Mark just choked from the dust but he did a great job better than the guy who I paid £400 too… Read more »
That is so nice Mark came to visit and help you in the yard. ♥ Too bad you got the insect bites they can itch for days and be miserable! This summer has been the best here in Maine too, perfect weather to be outside.

Thank you ice it was hard going and just easier to say nothing, now I am used to Nathan gone and just seeing Mark when he can get the time to fly down ! My next door neighbour of 42yrs died a few months ago the last of us old ones and I miss him being there for a teabag or drop of milk but just for being there ! 😘
