Good morning. Beryl, Jenn, Ardyth, Kathy, Lynn, Pam, Not too bad last night but still up early at 5-30 getting a habit now.lol. But very cloudy with the chance of a SHOWER……..Wow!! Busy day on the tram
This Thursday is Craig’s 65th birthday. He wants a small 6-inch chocolate cake with chocolate frosting for his birthday dessert. He said I could just buy one from the grocery store bakery dept but I got Craig’s approval to try making one from scratch. Here’s a link to the recipe I plan to follow. I haven’t baked a cake nor made homemade frosting in more years than I can remember so wish me luck.

This cake looks so delicious Kathy. There is something so special about a homemade cake. My mom always made each of her six children a special cake for our birthdays and I kept that tradition with my family. They are made with LOVE.💝

A cool day, 67 just going up to 71 and cloudy.
We ended up going down to Brunswick yesterday, we both wanted to complete something we had been working on. I finished all the cupboard lining and put away all kitchen dishes, appliances, utensils, everything. Denny finished my beautiful new desk sewing table. I love it will have to take a picture next time.
Today I am going nowhere, going to be lazy watching a movie maybe.

Thank you Kathy, it feels good to get things finished and settled. Still many boxes and containers to put away but the kitchen is finished. Denny put up the tv last week and we have pictures to hang and the odd stuff like that.
I think I would like to watch this YouTube today, this guy is very nice and has some interesting stuff. This one about the remote East coast in maine. I would recommend Peter he has southern ones too.

Good Morning! The ‘Ughy-Muggy Meter’ continues to be through the roof 😖 It has been feeling so oppressive for so long it’s unreal 😫 Today will be no different. Following a low of 75, today will be very hot and humid with a high of 99 but the heat index will make it feel around 107 🥵 We’re so very thankful that our central A/C has been holding up well so far and we pray that continues to be the case 🙏🏻 I had a very productive Sunday. Morning everyone! I went to church yesterday and the last two weeks the attendance is down!!! I know two ladies that sit by me noticed it and asked where everyone is?? Sometimes it is just summer and people travel…..Anne and Bette sat in front of me and Anne is my FB friend too and asked me what’s up with the SPAM ? Good luck with your tests today. I declined to have a mammogram when I had my check up in May. She agreed with me into 70’s and never having had issues it was most likely okay to stop. She did want me to have the bone density and I had a message from her she would like me to come in to talk about the results.
Jenn, It was funny because SPAM had an Ad for SPAM singles on FB after Rick bought them.
They have been around for years.
When I first went to NP Julie she told me I didnt have to have paps or mammograms anymore at my age. I still opted to have mammograms although I have never had a questionable one. I know what they would say if I asked the tech so maybe I will talk to my new Dr in Nov.
I will have to keep an eye out for the singles.😀
I did not know what Nichole would say but I told her I want to stop routine tests. She said they say about 75 to stop but she smiled and said she thinks 72 is fine to stop. I am going to have to discuss meds for the bone density when I go back.
I will be 73 in Dec. I guess it is my decision. 🙄
at my church, there’s always less people in the summer…I guess people go on trips and just do other things.
