Hello…last night we got a caregiver to stay late so we could go to the Eagles tribute band concert and it was soo good! It’s been so long since we’ve been out until 10 because of the schedule we’ve been on for over a couple years now. Today was farmer’s market, then post office, grocery deli, etc…music in the park tonight…we’ve had so much rain and our grass is really long….
How fun! So glad you were able to find a short-term caregiver so DH could go and enjoy it too. Have a good time with Mom at tonight’s oldies concert. 💖

Got up late — UGH, hate when i do that. Fed/watered the ferals. Put together 2 weeks worth of vitamin/meds boxes. Started a load of laundry. Loaded the trunk with all the recyclables; then went to recycle only to find the hall had already been converted to a Bingo Parlor for the Ark-Valley Fair that starts Weds. 🎪✨🎢🎡🎢 Had to unload said trunk in order to fit Sam/s/Kroger orders when i go to Pueblo on Tues. 🙄 By this time it was after 10a and i still hadn’t had a sip, let alone a full cup, of coffee and breakfast… Read more »

Good morning, Sunny again today, 57 going up to 77. Loving the cooler weather after a few hotter days last week. Yesterday was perfect to be outside. I saw on FB an add for an ‘estate sale’ and showing a Viking Daisy sewing machine. She was asking $200 which is reasonable for a good sturdy machine. I checked out the stats on it and found this. I went for my morning walk yesterday morning. I dont like that i have to wait until 5:30 am now to walk.
I applied my fingernails and did a load of clothes. Zura stopped by for a short visit.

I am going to a memorial at our church this morning for Don R. He was 92 years old and one of the sweetest men I knew.
I have known him for 35 years……..his wife died in 2017.

Good morning. Beryl, Jenn, Ardyth, Kathy, Lynn, Pam. Another sticky night but it looks like this heat wave is over in the next few days. Thank goodness for that. But still no rain expected in the near future, even talk that it will be October before we see any real rain. I do hope that will be a wrong forecast but they have been very accurate lately on the heatwaves. We have had some grassfires in my local area in the last few days.
