Thank you Kathy! Yes it came out of nowhere with thunder and lightening. I was chatting with Amber out on the deck when I heard thunder rumbling. I came in and asked Denny if he knew we were expecting a storm and he looked at the weather map then online and saw we were getting hit. It had been a beautiful day. UPDATE on Rick: CT showed a slow brain bleed, common in stroke patients. He’s been moved to ICU at Parkview, hospital attached to the rehab facility. Better than moving him to Memorial/Colo Spgs where they probably would’ve had to drill a hole in his head. 😧 He’ll be monitored and probably a couple more CTs Every time the phone rings, my heart starts pounding and my stomach feels like it does when going down the biggest drop on a roller coaster. Good morning, 65 going up to 76. We worked a long time yesterday. .I am about to go out of my mind with shelf lining. I have contact paper ( which takes a half hour for every piece to pull it apart ) regular rubbery shelf liner and I just bought something called Gorilla hold rubber liner and it isn’t any stronger than the regular to stay in place. I did not want to spend so much time with this but I do want it to be in place and it gives a nice look to me to set dishes… Read more »

Good morning A nice morning walk yesterday….a little breeze was nice. I gave myself a manicure but, havent applied nails yet. I met a chatter named Judy from the Decorah chat years ago. She lives outside Sioux Falls, S.D. So on our last visit there I was able to meet her for breakfast and then walkaround the town afterwards. Good Morning! Today we’re under a Heat Advisory from 12 noon to 8:00 PM. At 6:10 AM it’s humid and 73 going up to 95 with heat index around 105 🥵 Afternoon thunderstorms are possible. If I didn’t have my Cornea Specialist appointment this morning I would stay home today. If the Dr. Minkowski is on time for my 10:20 appointment I could be back home by noon. Hope we are not one of those places.Up at 5-30 again and it is already heating up it is 72F at 7-00.
Fan will be working overtime today.

Where I sit facing South the sun has been blazing into the room.
I have had the blinds drawn back and a window wide open a big mistake.
I have now shut the window and shut the blinds up to reflect the sunlight.
It is already cooling down in here now.
Even the breeze coming into the room was red hot.😀😘😓
As tempting as it is to let the sunlight in, it sure can get hot on a day like your having. Whew!
