Nineteen degrees overnight — brrrr. Sheet day; ugh, i love when it’s done, but those darn flannel sheets are a bear to work with, they stick to everything. And so many layers in winter; sheet, electric blankie, fat comforter; UGH. Been trying to wean the ferals off DST, but their tummies just don’t want to adjust. And i was late because of sheet day. Poor pets they don’t get the time change. I take it slow in increments of time. I have to adjust myself too, keep saying ‘ well it really is 5 o’clock before they changed it.

I think I figured out which flight Ardy is on. If I’m tracking the correct flight on flightaware.com using my iPad Pro it departed Sacramento, CA 4 minutes early at 4:56am PST with an ETA in Denver, CO on time around 8:30am MST.
If I tracked the correct flight, Ardy s plane safely arrived in Denver at 8:11am MST (per flightaware.com).
I wonder what time Ardy’s flight from Denver to Tucson is scheduled to depart?

We are both having the ‘cold event’ it sounds like. It will be in the low 30’s in the mornings through Wednesday it looks like.

Yes, I had read Pam’s update in the basement about Ardy’s flights today. Since it’s now around 4:35 AM in CA I am hoping and praying her flight to Denver is on time. I don’t know what time her Denver flight is scheduled to depart.
We have not heard from Ardy here, so I guess we do not know her flight plans.

Good morning, I woke just after 11pm with a booming thunder and the rain started. It did not rain long but this front brought in the cold, a freeze warning is out for tomorrow morning. It is 53 here now so not cold yet. Yesterday was a gorgeous day, we decided to go to Surfside Beach. I love this public beach, most are so controlled by the condos and hotels all on the beaches now. Yes, Surfside Beach is a favorite of mine. I haven’t been there in over 20 years but I’m glad to know it’s still a nice public beach minus all of the condos and hotels like some of the other beaches.
That is fun to know you have been there Kathy. This is the time of year I love going to the beach, not the crowds to deal with and walking in the sand on these Fall days is perfect to me.🤗
I always preferred this time of year as well to visit the beach. Two other beaches that I hope are still not commercialized are Garden City, SC and Sunset Beach, NC.

It seems crazy it was so warm the past 3 days, just like summer, then this sudden cold snap but I did so enjoy the past few days summer like weather.😊

Hello…a quiet afternoon here…no caregiver so DH is at his dad’s…my sister and mom went out of town, not sure when she’ll be back here..might see if DH wants to go out to eat when he gets home but maybe he’ll be tired or have things to do.
