Hello! I sent some picture to Ardy to post..I have always wanted to see the Northern lights so last night was quite exciting and emotional for me! Hoping to see them again tonight!
Today we picked up a chair for Bane and me..it’s from an estate sale place..the one we have now, from a sale is falling apart, so happy to get a new one. It’s noisy in our neighborhood, loud leaf blowers and so annoying…going to drink my tea now.

Just about the entire country was treated to a very powerful and amazingly bright Aurora display tonight. Here is what it looked like in Harrison, Maine. The red display was so bright, it turned the snow red and was easily visible to the naked eye! The bright spot at the corner of the school house is the waning gibbous moon rising.

Yesterday was terribly cold, 30 degrees with strong winds which made the ‘real feel’ bitter cold. Hard to believe
we were at the beach Sunday with 77 degrees!
I cut out a table runner and backing and hoping to finish it today.

We had the same bitter cold and windy day as well yesterday. So glad today is calm and will be warming up into the 60s.
Good Morning! After yesterday’s winter-like temps, we begin a warm-up this week. We start out a cold 37 at 6:50 AM with clear skies and a high of 64 (compared to 48 for yesterday’s high).
Today we have Roving PETicures coming to trim Chai and Matcha’s nails. This morning after I finish my breakfast I need to shower and shampoo. That also means I will be changing to fresh bed sheets today.
Yesterday morning Chai was sitting on the cat tree at the bay window when the sun was casting shadows on the window blinds.

Thanks Jenn 💜 It’s costs more having mobile nail trims but it’s easier and worth it for me as well as the kitties for the trims to take place in our peaceful home.
It would be worth it to me too Kathy. Pets always more comfortable in their own surroundings.💗

Yesterday was a busy day for me. I finished unpacking and got everything put away.
I did lots of laundry and cleaned the front part of the house and will finish cleaning this morning.
We are still having temps in the mid 80’s, it was almost 90° the day I came back from CA.
I am happy about that but it will be cooling down soon and a chance of rain for the next week.
Rick has ordered a new filter for the furnace and bought a new cover for the swamp cooler.

Good morning. Beryl, Jenn, Ardyth, nKathy, Lynn, Pam. A very wet Pretzel day today but job done and we are drying off now.lol. More of the same this week but we are down to the 40F ranges next week and on my weather App there was a snow symbol on one of the days. Looks like Winter has probably arrived.😏.
