Yesterday was busy again. I gave myself a pedi, polished my toenails. Then I gave Nikki a bath abd blowdry and brushed her. I washed a couple windows. The bats are in Mexico now so I wont have to fill the feeders every day…..
It was 84° yesterday. Changes in the weather are coming Saturday, colder and rain!!!

Sorry about the colder weather on the way.
cold for us…highs of 60 and 40’s at night with rain. They are saying an inch of rain on Tuesday. My cousin Ray said it was cold and pouring rain yesterday….the weather was good when i was there.
Good morning. Beryl, Jenn, Ardyth, Kathy, Lynn, Pam. “CLAUDIA has arrived and it was a very wet trip getting the daily paper today. The Yellow warning out is for heavy rain rather than wind speed which is quite low today. But it will mean that the rain will take longer clearing away so we are stuck with this for the rest of the day. Still raining hard and the local river is filling up fast now so that6 will soon be in flood.
The rubbish lorry has just emptied our bins so out in the rain to wheel them back to the back of the house.😘

Glenda keeping her mind sharp doing the crosswords. My sister Audrey loves crosswords and does them every day. I don’t care for them at all have to strain my brain too hard.
I don’t like crossword puzzles either. I feel quite stressed if I try to do one.

A beautiful sunny & 72 degrees today; perfect for a drive. 🌞 Survived shopping inside Kroger today; there must’ve been a gazillion people in that place. Got Chuck a Reese’s peanut butter ice cream cake for his b-day next week. It’s his favorite candy bar. They had 1 pumpkin pie and 1 cherry pie left in Marie Callander brand; i got ’em both! Hello…today I worked outside…raked, dumped out flower pots, swept up pine needles…also walked the dogs a couple times..the high was in the 50s and tomorrow will be in the 60s..I plan on doing lots of walking. I’m waiting to hear back from DH, since plans have changed and we aren’t taking food to FIL, maybe we can go out somewhere…we’ll see…going to catch up on the chat below.
In 12 hours storm Claudia should hit Britain giving us 6ins if rain and 70mph wind blasts so looks like we shall be in for a wet blowy time !

Good Morning! Sunny and 40 going up to 69 as our warming trend continues this week. On Sunday we might reach a high of 76. Yesterday Chai and Matcha survived their nail trims. Matcha protested the most but Jen (the grooming tech) was patient and took little breaks to just snuggle Matcha which helped to calm her down. For our dinner last night I told Craig I was debating between having bowls of Hormel chili or spaghetti with marinara sauce. Lauren would love to get another cat but can’t right now since one of her two house mates is allergic to cats. For now Lauren visits a cat cafe when she needs a ‘kitty fix’ 😺

Memories are lovely but they are also hard as it never goes away but memories soften as time goes by but the heart still feels the pain !
