Seeing pictures below, I am sharing this one of my dad which is a favorite. He grew this beard right after he retired in the mid-70’s.
He loved to laugh and have fun and he loved having daughters which is lucky because he had 5 of us.😊

My dad and mom have mostly English ancestry, and some Swedish which was probably my dad’s very blonde hair, which I inherited from him. I did not hear of any Scottish ancestry.

Good morning, 48 degrees going up to 54 so much warmer than 32 yesterday. It was just misting outside now but rain expected all day and continuing through the weekend.🤨 I had to get groceries yesterday then back home and it had warmed up so spent time outside taking a walk. I honestly felt for her when I saw her standing next to him with the neighbor talking ( this neighbor talks a lot ) and she looked almost scared. I know this woman Joy talks your head off when you meet her out walking. I would be talking to Lynn asking her how she was and questions about her. Oh well, hope to get to know her better and be a friend to her.
She has never been to the US before.

It must be but she was determined to come here, she wanted to come and was trying for years. She had to have so many shots and tests and ups and downs.

Good Morning! It started lightly raining around 8:30 PM last night and continued all night. Raining and 42 going up to 44 with rain expected to end by early afternoon.
Yesterday I accomplished my grocery shopping but never got around to doing laundry. Craig’s vehicle wasn’t ready on Thursday because a needed part was not delivered in time. I will take Craig to work again this morning and take him to our mechanic after work to pick up Big Blue.

Good morning The Memorial was nice yesterday, only 17 of us. The temp was only 45° at 10:00 but it wasnt bad with the sun shining. Rick called a locksmith to come out since the 2011 key fob for my first KIA SOUL was worn out and he had to use a paperclip to press on the little piece to open the doors. Kia and one other person tried to program a new fob for the car and couldnt. This man did it!!! It cost $210 but KIA was going to charge over $300 if it had worked. Rick put… Read more »

I have always enjoyed having the tree lights on since I get up early and i have really enjoyed them and the decorations…..We leave them all day too.
These clear ones were in a box donated to us when Sherri died and I do not like them at all.
you might like the clear ones with more of a golden glow, ones with a bluish tint are colder looking.
by the clear ones do you mean white ones? I like both…we actually have a tree that has colored and white/clear.

Woke up to another white frosty start to the day, a bit unexpected.🙄
By this afternoon we will be getting some heavy rain.
A high of 48Fn with heavy gusts of wind at 47mph at times.
Day 6 cheese is “Wensleydale with Mango and orange” much too sweet for me.
Had bread delivery yesterday afternoon so I have 10 loaves to slice this morning.
That will test my arm out.
Time for that coffee fix which will help a little.lol.

My APP is telling me that rain is expected at 1pm today.

This was a crumbly bit but too sweet for us.
She likes a Wensleydale cheese that is studded with Cranberries.
But we mostly eat Cheddar cheese with an occasional soft cheese like Brie.
Bread smelled really tempting as I sliced it will be a couple of slices at teatime with a chunk of cheese.😋😘

Howdy-do Lovely Early Bird People 🎄 Well, no new wi-fi for me today 😔 Poor installer got out here and there’s about 3 inches of snow on the ground, as well on the roof of the house, had to reschedule to Monday morning.
